the quality of the sentra in materials, the fittings and the general quality is much better than in the corolla, the toyota has many cheap plastics, the mechanical quality is tied, although I feel more confidence in the quality of the sentra engine since it is manufactured in the yokohama plant - japan, Japanese quality, the new cvt x-tronic of the Nissan has a variator with the first gear of planetary gears just like the corolla, and the quality of materials improved a lot and in parallel they increased the cooling circuits which improved in every way with respect to the old CVTs, the reliability of the sentra is far superior to previous versions, I have a 2020 model with 186 thousand km and it continues to purr like a kitten to this day, without a doubt Japanese cars are super reliable
Toyota needs to bring that 70 series land cruiser to the US. Just like they sell it in developing countries. With no high tech nonsense to keep the cost of production and price down.
I wish Toyota would use their own internals. I get sharing chassis but at the point where everything else comes from another company you really shouldn’t be able to put your badge on it
I was disappointed with the body and fit of the new Tundra. I looked at the Tundra but wouldn't buy it. Glad I didn't with all the problems it's having. I was disappointed with my new 2020 Camry. It was the worst new car I've ever had and Toyota wouldn't stand behind it. The new Tacoma is having a lot of problems too. Toyota put a fake badge on a BMW and called it a Supra. That stained the legacy of one of the most perfect cars ever made. Then there's the 86. What's going on with Toyota now days? The quality is terrible.
My son bought a 2023 Sentra SR and he loves it. I’ve driven a 2024 Corolla extensively across the country. The Sentra is a better car. The Corolla is somewhere between the Versa and Sentra in my opinion.
I brought the 23 Sentra with the two toned roof, and premium color aspen white tri color and I have have the midnight edition package my car has a 20 year 200k warranty Toyota doesn’t offer that
Toyota messed up the Supra. The last design looks like a farewell to the model Instead of something to look forward to. Toyota needs to look modify that body a great deal and leave the German image out. #toyota
Toyota is not anti-EV. If there's a version of EV that presents a value proposition to the consumer greater than their current offerings, Toyota for sure will produce that EV. The problem is currently there no such EV.
the EV infrastructure in the US is far from being ready, on top of this, the unreasonable cost of battery replacement, limited range, the pollution of lithium produciton, and long charging time are tough. The last straw is the questionable reduction of CO2 emission of EVs considering the high ratio of fossil fuel used in power generation.
I purchased cash a Toyota RAV4 Cruiser Hybrid AWD for AU$60,000. I purchased a Toyota hybrid because of proven reliable technology. EVs are a scam with huge depreciation within a couple of years and basically worthless at 8 years. They charge a disposal fee for worn out tyres. Eventually they will have to charge a fee to safely dispose of a 700kg+ toxic lithium battery.
