George! Great Question! Here in AZ, you can really play baseball any time year round. But from June thru August, you normally want to wait a few hours after the sun goes down since it's 110 degrees during the day...every day 🥵
Steven, is a dork, get him off your Sun Devil video! ASU brought in tons of talent in the transfer portal and thru recruiting. The Pac 12 was tougher than the Big 12. Playing at Washington, USC, UCLA, Utah, etc. Kenny has the program headed in the right direction. The guy has national credibility, because of his work at Florida State and Oregon. He will continue to kill it in recruiting. I believe ASU has the top recruiting class in the Big 12.
Wyoming beat Texas Tech, and Appalachian State last year, both good programs, and then was tied with Texas 10 to 10 going into the 4th quarter... with a backup Quarterback. Every team Wyoming lost to last year, finished the season with a winning record. Wyoming brings back a slew of starters back on both sides of the ball. They have a fantastic D line with fantastic linebackers. The offense now brings in Jay Johnson from Michigan State to revitalize and balance a run heavy offense. Calling Wyoming a guaranteed win is a bold statement, but we shall see, and I will be in Tempe for that game. Good show gents.
To go along with that, Wyoming beat Fresno last year, who prior to that had the longest winning streak in the nation, and beat Arizona, I believe 29 to 0.
I think Wyoming is definitely a test but they just lost their best player & starting RB to start the season & they are gonna have to travel to the brutal heat in AZ which will fatigue you quicker than ever, it’s the reason why ASU tends to have good non conference success for the most part. Also a new staff is in for Wyoming so who knows how good they are compared to the previous staff.
@@chriseuzarraga2326 there almost no staff turn over. And the Wyoming backfield is deep. Wyoming beat Texas Tech without Waylee, and we brought in another running back from North Carolina in the off season. We’re just gonna have to wait the opening game. And I will be there
I am 100% embarrassed. Super hungover, and super disappointed. Tempe was nice though besides the heat. Cowboys can’t even blame it on the temperature because the game was amazing with the breeze.
Thank you Husky Nation!! If Merrill and Zac can give us 6+ I like our chances with how the bullpen has been rolling. Definitly need Pfaadt to go at least 5... It will be interesting to see if they do a bullpen start in game 4. Maybe Mantiply or Thompson start?? That and Pfaadt have to be the biggest question marks!
I strongly believe that either the fiesta mall, talking stick resort, or just splitting footprint center with the suns will all be better options for the new arena than Tempe. Yall said "have you been to Tempe? The traffic is already bad!" Yes, and adding an NHL team would make it so much worse. Rio Salado and Mill Ave are both two lane streets, it doesnt take a lot to get them completely gridlocked. In terms of the Dbacks, I agree I think pfaadt is looking well and probably is our new #3. We shouldn't trade Druw Jones for bullpen pitching tho thats just silly
This man must live in Tempe!! Really like Pfaadt and want to give him some time to grow especially since we need to find a solidified 3rd. But totally agree with you, cannot trade Jones. Mike was saying you might look to move pieces like a Jake McCarthy or Alek Thomas since they've already been optioned down to add some pitching depth, especially since you have Druw waiting in the wings!
I'd lean hard towards trading Thomas than McCarthy if given the option. McCarthy can run and fits better in the offensive system that the dbacks have now
We are gonna be a 4-3 front with some packages of 3-4 he is a primarily edge rusher with little experience play off so sorry but horrible take bj is known for his bend and his pass rushing moves
Anaheim is not a large market.....It's over an hour outside of LA. That would be like the The Suns calling themselves the "Phoenix Suns" when they actually played at an arena in Lake Havasu.
All time classic win for ASU! Also to the point you both made, Dez Cambridge had already hit a half court shot against UCLA earlier this year. U of A coaching staff should’ve known we would get him the ball
