i feel like the first movie gets too much backlash, while movie adaptations of video games are notoriously unfaithful you have to examine them in a different light and must look at them as tho the video games don't exist, the first movie is a good movie but a poor adaptation of the games
films made in that eara are the best and will never be as good today. The music reminds me of being back in 2006 and times were so special back then and just took it for granted
I may have written this comment long ago or I may only remember it anyway I feel silent hill is more than just a movie or a game I can feel something pulling or a distant memory of another person I dont know man never mind

As a huge Silent Hill fan I ordered tickets for the first movie way in advance and went to the midnight showing. It was on the east coast and a storm had blown through just a few days before, laying a lot of fog and wind in the area. I watched the movie and was spellbound by the cinematography, creepy sound effects, and otherworldly music. When I left the theater after the show there was a thick blanket of fog that I had to drive through to get home. It was one of the most surreal, loneliest feelings I can remember. The music stuck with me forever.
The Silent Hill soundtrack is the best. It has a pint of whimsical feeling to it and yet is extremely unnerving to listen to. Almost like children nursery songs. Makes me feel an immense sense of nostalgia for something unknown. I get shivers no matter how many times I've listened to these.
Yes Peter touches your soul so deeply , he was the one , never to forget , we love him always 💚💚💚and we are so sad about things he had to make through ,he was so wonderful in the sixtis till 1971 unforgetable such a talent
