You wanna race you like you said in the beginning, you need to buy an actual fast car .. you at the wrong dealership These cars are so over hyped for no reason … if your buying it for the looks ok than go get it But if your buying the car for speed/ racing/ track move on theres wayyyy better cars out there for the money at every level of these things RT, Scat, and hellcat
@bustdown_corn you needa do these 3 things to the 5.7 1. Get a 392 intake manifold with the zautomotive SRV controller this makes the 5.7 breath wayyyyyy better 2. Get a unlocked pcm and get tuned my personal choice go with hemifever he’s helpful and can guide you thru the process 3. Get a zautomotive tazer to unlock track mode for the 5.7 With just these 3 mods your 5.7 will be a beast compared to stock
Sitting in the finance department of a dealership and having a discussion about “what are you looking at for a monthly payment” is the absolute worst thing you can do. You lose essentially all negotiating leverage when you do that especially if you’ve become emotionally attached to the vehicle. I ask the dealer to show me what that car will cost me outright after all taxes title and fees are applied. I can figure out if I can afford it. I never go into a dealership without walk away power.
