You put your faith in a god that sits idly by while kids die from cancer or allows a destructive violent species destroy the very place it calls home? Your god is selfish and lazy and I hate him if he's real

Evangelical churches are so incredibly toxic. So God will not abandon the follower but *will* abandon the non-follower??? What type of theological logic is this? Life has it's ups and downs regardless of faith. Jesus came for ALL - regardless of what this pastor or any other pastor says are stipulations. Churches like this say conflicting things to keep people thinking they're less than and then they cue music for added emotional manipulation. Run - don't walk - away from churches like this!
