Much of this is staged. It's unlikely many of the people would behave the way they did with a camera crew filming them. They're either playing to the camera or following a script.
If I were to move back home, I would actually purchase myself a sturdy wooden shed that I could convert into my personal space and put it in the backyard. This way at my parents start to annoy me, I have a personal space to myself. Assuming that it’s large enough, I could make it into my bedroom that is not attached to the house lol. This way I have some privacy.
Yes we know that rent is expensive now but how many of these young people also HAVE TO HAVE vacations, Smart Phones, special vehicles, Starbucks, going to bars, eating out etc. When we started out we lived on whatever we made and lived in a house with five roommates and shared costs. I left home at age 17 I was in college did not have any health insurance, no vehicles, no gaming etc. and I was putting myself through college without any help from anyone. We all had jobs where we were not happy until we moved on. I was a cashier in a grocery store working nights and weekends.

Owning a house and having a mortgage on a house are two different things. You don't own a car until it is paid off, do you? Same with homes. Why don't people get this?
Stop whining and complaining. If you have the physical and mental capacity to go earn, just go do it. My dad worked 3 jobs and my wife and I have been lucky enough to have our health the last 40 years and do what we needed to do.
If adult kids are living at home they should be contributing to household cost water, sewer and garbage, electricity, Internet ,cable or dish, or salalite TV and food cost.
Times change & things are worse now but people must live within or under their means. Car payments as big ir bigger rhan mortgages,cc debt,constant vacations,entertainment,iver consumption. For many it's a mind set. All the oroblems that exist now still all focus is on entertainment,sports,etc while people are homeless & elderly struggle.🙁
Julie ripped off at 400K. That guitar starting price would be in the millions of pounds if sold at Sotheby's or the like. Pawn dealers are known rip off artist and the ones featured on this show are no better. The guitar is unique...no other item would contain all those signatures and the fact that it belonged to a singer like Alvin just adds to the value. I wouldn't have sold it for less than 1.5 million pounds or USD$3 million. All you need at an aution is the likes of a bill Gates and Elon Musk both wanting that guitar and it may even reach 5 or 6 million dollars.
Absolutely ridiculous. I am upper middle class retired with a six figure salary with a divide portfolio and other assets. People are lazy and ignorant and don’t plan and learn about investing 😊
Reagan f-ed up our country. We need better presidential candidates than we have for 2024. It sucks that a candidate needs to be bankrolled by entities that don’t care if Americans work full time ++ but still can’t afford to live even a very basic life.

This whole thing is due to people not demanding that NAFTA AND UN be cancelled. Our standard of living iSNt dropping slightly...its collapsing. This is the reason they want multiculturalism...the masses flooding in here have lived under communism and know no other way.
