I have to wonder how many uneducated liberals would still argue that our founders created a "democracy". It's a stupid argument made by people who are actively trying to rob us of our liberty.

Liberty is lighting your own path setting a trail blaze that's true independence but Liberty is the confidence to be ahead of the race you begin promoting Liberty and tell those unaware of it's true meaning to hear an exaggerated version they begin to fight for independence not realizing it could have been avoided but weakened the country in war to gain liberty is like showing everyone you weren't ready for Liberty because it is attained in a Democratic vote that's representation of all state or municipalities of cities town's and state's counties Senate Republic begin the 2 wolves in a democracy I think they mean Senate and Congress they have state's governments meeting in houses in state as the do in federal government meeting in a Federal District Colony they're armed goat is the military the answer to all else fails the return of Jesus the dividing sword the lord rightfully divides what is too far left and right is loosed if not found and returned right? Republic not Democracy! I find people who are pedantic on this topic to be absolutely obnoxious! They tend to be in love with the precise definition to justify minority rule and normalize totalitarianism and hate the general concept of “democracy” in the form of a Constitutional Republic. We are indeed a “FORM of democracy” with a republic at the federal level and a direct democracy at the state level. Those who have an obsession with correcting the generalized term “democracy” to “Republic” are very troubling because it always seems to be wrapped in an anti democracy agenda. It reminds me of those who scream “The civil war was about states rights NOT slavery”!

Yeah - that's why the US has the highest firearm murder rate of all modern countries by a huge margin. Washington said this when almost no one owned firearms (ball and musket era) and armed citizens were necessary to man a standing army for civil defense.
