Very nice boat, i have a 195s love it very hard to steer at lower speed like load up and the gelcoat scratches real easy. Can't get near the ling without leaving a scratch and maybe 43mph top speed not the 48 to 51 they say.
Currently considering buying this same exact boat. Can you take the ballast out, or turn the wake down? Like the idea of being able to surf but also chill too, without other boaters hasselling ya.
You forgot to mention the extra 800 holes in the bottom for rivets. You rivet guys. 😂🤣😂 I thought the last time they made boats with rivets was the Titanic. Oh wait, I guess Alumacraft, Lund, Prince Craft and Polarxraft didn't get the memo that rivets didn't work too well back in 1906. 😂🤣😂
You forgot a some important places in the boat. Stern no livewell ?? how about battery compartment demission?? how about driver console panel switches, dash for electronics ?? WTF and you sell boats LOL
I can attest to the importance of relabel working bilge pump. First year out with the new AR190, not knowing much about boats, our boat would have a stream of water coming out of the side of it whenever we stopped. A few weeks of this out on the water I finally called up my boat dealer and asked about the water shooting out the side of the boat. The person at the shop asked me to check and make sure the hull plugs where screwed into the boat. Sure enough, no plugs in the boat. Sure glad that bilge pump worked. Love our AR190. We have had it for three years and its been an activity that has brought my family closer.
Finally! Every, since, boat review needs to be done like this. We'll done, all the features show, with humans to scale, actually out on the water, bravo! Now if only we could get one for the 22ft and 25ft
My 2013 26SD just seems to have soooo much smoother lines. Cobalt sold out to Malibu and some of the finesse has seem to go away; though some of the new features are alluring.
Great boat. I’d love one on Lake Chelan. I could cruise to Stehekin and spend the night in the cabin. It can handle bit water and wind when it comes out of nowhere. The presenter is not a good fit for the boat. He might have a fishing boat but I wasn’t convinced he was even a boater. High school macho. Sorry, but he should be selling aluminum river boats, not Cobalts.
Nice Boat! Question: for the exhaust cooler update on the 230, is it difficult for dealers to receive the parts to complete this? My dealer has half the parts, been waiting 2 months for the other half with no end in sight. Is your dealership seeing the same delays
I’m in the same situation in Lakewood, CO. Been waiting 2 months for “a clip” I’m told. Dealer has no time estimate, called BRP multiple times and they just keep giving me dates when “some parts will be in the warehouse” but won’t give any estimate of when parts will go where. Then the dates they give come and go with no parts at the dealer. Makes me feel like BRP has no idea what they are doing…
Are Spyders reliable? I’m getting a bike this year and I don’t know much about these in particular. But I’m getting older and I walk up to 10 miles a day for work so the thought of not having to hold a bike up with my knee being the way it is sounds enticing
Here's the problem with the seedoo switch ,1#try getting one ,two they are so overpriced ,and 3 the dealers that sell them charge rediculas setup and prep charges. They say they are one price but they are not.
