During passage planning firstly we have to install ENC permits and than start preparation of route yeah?! but you directly import route in the catalog,how did you make route with out ENC permits?
Hi there. Thank you for your great question Mate. Well, let me ask you a reverse question. How could you create order for the ENC without the initial route?
So, When you receive the voyage information from the master. First step is to create an initial route based on the 'world wide ocean passage publication or even your experience'. After establishing initial route, you can create an initial order for ENCs or Publications. So, I mentioned the word 'initial'. Which means you can adjust and change that once you have ENC permits. Hi there. Thank you for your comment. You know, if you want to order the permit which is about to expire. You just select & create the order for those charts on the application like ADC, SUITES, Connect pro...., then send that to your provider or company. But I recommend that you need to wait until it gets expired.

Maintain the gangway watch and cargo watch at all time 2. Frequently monitored weather condition, cargo works and adjust the mooring ropes. 3. Maintain the stability of the ship and always keep the ships upright. 4. Assist the CO to ballast & de ballast operations 5. Frequently make the safety patrol to ensure everything is normal and Report to the C. O immediately if have any sign of abnormality. So on...

Prepare the bridge checklist 2. Test for ME/Steering gear system 3. Check all the critical bridge equipment to ensure all in good order. 4. Updated for all ENC & Publications 5. Fill up for all the bridge record books properly. 6. Set up the VHF to appropriate channel... So on.

Hi there. Thank you for your comment,Mate. So you know, incase if you don't turn off the sync. switch before adjusting that, you will unable to move or change the course on that device. So this is mandatory step mate.

Well you know, if the true bearing is smaller than Gyro course. That means the gyro error is negative (west). So you can try to decrease the Gyro course to make that equal with the true bearing.
Uh. Đúng rồi em. Nhưng cái này chỉ update cho những ENCs mà e đã order rồi thôi. Còn khi em order permits cho route mới thì em bắt buộc phải dùng đĩa Base nhé.( AVCS CD 1+2).

Còn tùy em nhé. Đa phần trên các dòng ecdis khi thực hiện weekly update thì không cần phải load permits vì đã có các permits đấy rồi, vì thế Khi không có new permits thì ko cần load nữa. Nhưng nhiều tàu dùng phần mềm quản lý hải đồ và update qua đấy nên hàng tuần nó sẽ tự động xoá những expired permits. Và hàng tuần khi load lại những expired permits sẽ ko còn trong cái permits đấy nữa. E hiểu ý a chứ.
Hi Im finding it very hard to do weekly NBDP test here in africa any station would you recommend? (Ps.its my first time here in africa) I tried searching in ALRS but I cannot find anyting like guanzhou that has I.D in it that you can use , pls help
Hi there. Thank you for your comment Mate. So FYI, from Jan, 01 2024 the function of NBDP is no longer required for transmission. For that reason, I don't think you could find the station ID on the ADRS anymore.
Sir, how many pump that we need to switch on when do hard to hard test? In your vidio you just using 1 pump but i got explained from my lecture need to use 2 pump Can you explain sir? Thank you
Hi there. Thank you for your comment Mate. So FYI, it really depends on the design of the vessel. For many vessels which designed to use two pumps. you will able to switch on two pumps at the same time for testing & maneuvering. but for the rest you will unable to do like that. For that reason you can only use one by one pump. Hope this comment catch you well mate. Good luck!

Hi there. Thank you for your comment Mate. So FYI if you want to get the new ADP activation key, you have to create & send the request to your provider and once they receive that they will send you the activation key.
Hi there. Thank you for your question Mate. So FYI, for me it's okay to keep all of those expired permits on the device. Because you can use that for reference sometimes and it doesn't affect to your voyage.
