Had a tour of the new facility (given by my step daughter, Jaimi Poland, Echo Tech) and WOW what an amazing addition! Maine really needed this. The patient rooms are such a HUGE upgrade, speaking from the experience of a family member. My husband had quadruple bypass surgery in December and the worst part of his experience was the closest sized rooms he had to share with other patients. It was impossible to get any rest. He had a week wait before the procedure inpatient. I hope this helps get patients through faster and cuts down on costs. With that being said, the staff and doctors at Maine Med are AMAZING. I'm so excited they have a state of the art facility to work with now.
Why not promote the professionalism of your nurses. Last names, titles, and credentials (beyond RN) should be standard. Consider what this video would look like if physicians were portrayed. We are more than just a smiling face with a first name.
I discovered I had HPV at 22 years and have lived with it for 9 years, honestly speaking it affects my life so bad that I could use any help to get ridoff it which I couldn't find till last year when I saw a recommendation about Dr madida on RU-vid curing Herpes virus, Hiv, Cancer, EBV, HPV and all kind of disease. I quick contacted him and used his prescribed medication for a month and immediately the treatment I went for another pap smear test that confirmed me cured... I am a living testimony from Dr Madida good works..
This is the such an atrocity against healthcare workers that they didn't tell them that these people needed early treatment and instead they send them home until they were on death's door when they could have been treated early which is what's been done for century treat early and they denied early treatment to America. Instead they insisted on a failed drug once they did go into the hospital, called them which is so failed and Ebola.
I get admitted frequently through the ER and I'm having a port placed in 3 days. I'm wondering if all nurses are knowledgeable with accessing ports or if I'm going to run into problems with people not knowing what to do.
I am not an expert, but in my experience my mom made sure to only let certain nurses access it. Hematology/oncology nurses and my specific home health nurse. I had two absolutely HORRIBLE experiences (I got a port at age 4, and had one until age 15) and after those we decided to be very careful about who we let access it. My friend got infections from people doing it incorrectly, she had multiple ports, I only ever had two, and I do believe that a big part of that was who we let access it. So I would advise that if possible to try and get nurses who access ports often (I wouldn’t recommend ER nurses, as they don’t do it often. I say hematology/oncology specifically just because they work with ports almost every day) but ultimately it’s up to you. This is just my personal experience and what worked for me. ❤
I am so happy that Dan was able to resume the life he had by doing the clip procedure. Thank you for sharing his story! So sorry he passed away. RIP Dan. You had a good life! Nice Smile!
It’s now Christmas of 2023, soon to be 2024. This will go down in history as the biggest crime against humanity ever perpetrated on the human race. I have been a nurse for almost 40 years, I am unvaccinated, I saw this evil coming from a mile away. As a health care professional, I as most ALL others in the field knew from the beginning that these masks were useless, and that this wasn’t a vaccine. From the dancing nurses, to Mr Biden whispering into the microphone “Get the shot…..”. It all gave me the creeps……..
Ridiculous. This is is a way for the state to get their hands on your children. This is a dangerous slippery slope. Never trust these government workers.
I’m not a nurse, but I take care of my own port and u don’t take my mask off until I take the needle out and have a bandaid over the site. But that’s just me
Stoping lying !! I am sick of those healthcare works who acts like unvaccinated patients like evil !! People who get vaccinated get sicker than unvaccinated people too .
