I loved each piece holds a memory. Two quick questions. How are you sure you’re buying authentic while looking at preloved? Also I never wear bracelets- does the water harm them from handwashing? Do you remove all ur tiff pieces before showers?
HI! Thank you for your lovely comment, I don't always know, however there are ways to tell if they are fake, if I'm buying from ebay, i always make sure they have a return policy because I have gotten a couple of fakes already and I end up returning them which is a guarantee i'm getting my money back. I also scrutinize each photo very closely and I can usually tell when they are fake. The second thing I do is I buy from trusted sellers on the facebook selling groups, most sellers have been vetted by admins and if anyone is caught selling fakes then they are thrown out of the group so 99% of sellers are selling authentic items. As for the second question about bracelets and handwashing, it all depends on the type of bracelets, some are quite ok to shower with or get wet, others are not. For example, I live in my diamonds by the yard bracelets because they are dainty and are not very chunky or heavy. I used to shower with them on as well until my SA told me they could potentially unclasp and I could lose them in the drain. Now I take them off before I shower but I still sleep with them on. I also check the clasps every now and then to make sure they are still nice and tight. Also if I'm going to use a harsh cleaner to clean bathrooms or sinks I take them off. A lot of women don't take their Tiffany stuff off at all...I think it all depends on your comfort level. If you have any other questions let me know! I hope this response helps! xoxo
That’s a very good question, unfortunately I don’t have an answer for that. The only thing I can say is that we have to trust the brand. I’ve collected for more than 15 years so at this point I trust that it’s gold. It also depends on where you bought it from. If you buy from the store then you know it’s going to be real. If you buy from eBay it can possibly be fake. Also the thing is, brass tarnishes where gold doesn’t, eventually you would see that and know it’s fake, but again if you bought from the store then you have nothing to worry about. Sorry this doesn’t really help if you bought secondhand.
@@MyXpressions I’ve never collected Pandora (finding so much of it juvenile) but this exactly matched an old Trollbeads lock that I had on a bracelet for one of my beloved grandchildren.
I can relate to the juvenile vibes, especially these last couple of years, they used to make good quality stuff way back in the day. I don’t buy from them as much as I used to, I’ve moved onto other brands as well.
Pandora is such a huge let down. I loved the Pandora of 15 years ago when they used real diamonds and gemstones. They had something at all price points. Even their silver was better back then. The quality has dropped so much. Not sure I'd buy any of their lab diamond jewellery either but I think it's the best thing they have to offer at the moment.
yes one hundred per cent agree!! it's a real shame that they don't use natural gemstones anymore. in regards to their lab created diamonds, even though they are lab created, they are still tempting, i like the star talisman one, super cute and the price point isn't too bad!!!
Informed myself? Maybe learn how to spell and use grammar lol. And yes, I have informed myself, I know technically they are considered real diamonds, but because they are man made, lab diamonds fluoresce, i.e. they turn blue under a black light, which is a sure fire way to tell a natural one from a lab created one. That in itself is a huge turn off. I also know there’s a slew of pros and cons for natural vs lab…my point is that this company uses man made gems to justify their so called “sustainability” when really it’s just their way of cheapening their brand while charging more money. Even so I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on one of their lab pendants…it’s just a shame that they want to charge so much for something that is not natural.
Sorry to hear that, I thought you would be able to find that piece on ebay, have you tried other places like poshmark? Also facebook selling groups have some nice oldies as well, you should consider joining some to see if you get lucky.
Thanks! If you see I did find that option at the beginning of my video but I opted to keep it to just charms as that is what my audience prefers to watch. Also I had already made a video on the new "essence" video and I didn't want that collection to get in the way of just viewing the new charms.
I have that heart chain from when it retired. I don't think there was a gold plated version the first time around. Maybe the length is different too?? Not sure if the gold leaf on the new muranos would be done well. I bought the version with the stars on the core and returned them. They had gaps in the gold leaf and you could see the joins. They are a different finish though so might be ok. I agree the new murano shape opals are amazing. The colours are so beautiful. Best so far. I would be happy for you to cover all new pieces in your videos. As far as the opal heart dangle goes, you could get it and wear it and if or when the plating changes then take it and replace it for real gold. Being on a necklace it will probably last for years. I've got a few pieces of the plated gold and honestly I haven't seen any wear on them. I occasionally wipe them with the polish side of the cloth. Thanks for your thoughts. Take care 🌞
Yeah i'm confused about the heart chain necklace now, I should go see what necklace chains pandora has on their website now so I can clear up the confusion because i have the silver one too. Interesting about the gold leaf muranos, I hope they are made well so that you don't see the joins like you said. Thanks for your encouragement! I have been tempted to review the entire collection of all new items, but just covering the charms makes for an hour long video, and I feel like most people don''t care to watch longer videos anymore. Personally I prefer longer videos, sometimes I don't have anything to watch on youtube and I would love it for the channels I subscribe to to have longer videos or at least more content come out. Not a bad plan for the heart murano, but even if I didn't have the bail replaced immediately with a gold one, I don't love the extra hardware they add to it, what I mean is for my count they used three bails or rings when they only needed one, i find that when you wear a charm as a pendant sometimes the pendant doesn't sit well on the chest, it tends to be forced up, i don't know if you know what i mean. i've actually had bails removed before for a more sleek look, and once I get my hands on this pendant i can't wait to make the same alteration to it! @@MyXpressions yes, I completely understand about the dangles. I find the cz standard bales to be the worst offenders for that. I have discovered the chunky chain helps alot with that or putting them on an O Pendant too. Maybe the longer style would also help. I'll have to look at it again. I love the colours. Very beautiful. Goes amazing with gold tones. I will often do longer videos. If someone is interested but can't sit though the whole thing in one go they will come back to it. I think for catalogues and things people will use as a resource later it's better to keep it all together. I've done both. I love the chapter feature on RU-vid so you can skip though if looking something up. It's a shame you don't have your pc. I know you found that easier.
I did! I really miss editing on my pc, it was much faster and easier for me and it free'd up my phone...i always forget that videos have chapters now LOL I feel technology is starting to leave me behind!
Hi Jahndra Pandora is making too many items in 14k plating! I wish they would go back to their roots and make more two tone 14k charms! I was thinking the same thing as you...Pandora Me style is looking like the traditional charm bracelet. I think the model is wearing two chains around her neck. This joint heart chain had retired maybe they brought it back. I bought it at Ruelala when it retired. The Opalescents green heart and Opalescent green charms are a definite a must have for you! Donald and Daisy charms are too cute! The golden mini murano is lovely!
one hundred per cent agree with you about the plated jewelry...it's way too much and they should be more transparent on what that mixed metal alloy crap really is. yessss, funny how they are starting to push a more traditional style bracelet lol yea i guess maybe they made the gold plated heart chain, so then why retire the silver version?? Or is it not retired, I don't even know. Yes I can't wait to get my hands on that opal heart!! Also I still can't believe that I loved the donald duck charm so much lol, his cartoons were my favorite growing up.

yea that worries me about the smallness of the charm, for $75 i want him to be a nice chunky size! so we can appreciate the details of his tantrum LOL... I completley agree with you about the essence name, like think of something else, like maybe fluidity, or flow or anything than something they already used before smh

true, I don’t remember if I mentioned this in the video but it does remind me of their older liquid silver collection way back in the early or mid 2000’s. this collection definitely reminds me of that.
Hi Jahndra I'm not sure why your computer is not pulling up and showing all the new jewelry in one place. There are new pieces with roses, pearls, even new charms for Game of Thrones. I definitely want the silver rose charm which is so pretty, and the rose bracelet!
yes it's really weird that the game of thrones charms didn;t pull up for some reason, and I was even a week late to making the video so I don't know if it was some glitch or what, but I think next time i'll just pull up all new pieces like you suggested and we'll see what happens.
Well it turns out I may have missed a lot more charms like the Game of Thrones release, not that I care about those though LOL. HOpefully next time I will catch all of the new stuff that comes out.
Oh and wow to those cool earrings. Our estore usually lets us see out of stock items but maybe yours doesn't. I do wonder if they would get caught in long hair? I'd be interested to see them in person.
oOh the getting caught in long hair is a good point, would still be interested in seeing them in person like you said, i still think they look pretty cool. Who knows now if it's a country exclusive or what, and also yes! What is going on with me not being able to see the out of stock stuff? It's not the first time it's happened or that I have noticed. It is getting very annoying.
We don't have the Roses collection release yet. However we did get the cherry blossom dangle. There was a rose plated version a while back but we never got that. We have the pearls collection as our last release. I love the new rose pieces. I agree it would have been nice if the white pieces were mother of pearl or carved shell like the pink ring I have. The price would have been higher I think though. I do wonder how well it will last?? I guess I won't rush in to those pieces. The silver ring is beautiful and the little rose dangle. I still would love the love script from Valentine's Day release. Not keen on cz's that could fall out. Mind you, we have 2 years warranty now so if there's going to be a problem it usually happens early on. Sorry I haven't kept up with much on instagram. As always I love reading your comments. My paternal grandmother died a couple of weeks ago so obviously it's been hard to want to do regular things much less a video. I also wish the white rose collection was real mother of pearl, it would've looked so lovely! WIth this bio resin plastic garbage it makes me wonder will it stay white always? or will it change color like the enamel? I did like the new love script collection, I think it's light weight but very well done, even though it's technically a recycled design. Yes if I can carve out some time I will try to get back to my collection videos, although I think I will be focusing on my completed bracelets, since I've sold off most of my excess charms that I had laying around. The dangle rose earrings weren't released as far as I know. They might have been pulled from the collection after the promo pics were taken. Also up at the very top of the website (where you selected charms, earrings, etc) to the far left there's a drop down to select "New In" items
Thanks for the info! Yes I noticed that after the fact lol. HOpefully I will remember that tip for the next video and not forget! I mainly focus on the charms which is why i always go directly there first, then if I haven't gone too long I will also check out the rings and earrings etc. I hope the earrings weren't pulled, they looked very cool and even though I make earrings a low priority, I would totally get these on sale or for a the next promotion. However what you said makes sense, wouldn't be the first time they pulled a product because of some manufacturing issue or flaw lol!
Thanks for the video. On another note thanks got posting pics of retired Pandora charms. I have been looking and I realized that I missed out on the charm styles that I fit my style. I am sad about that.
Glad it was helpful! Do you mean posting videos here on older charms? Or on my Instagram account where I do sometimes post older pieces? I ask because I used to post videos of older charms so collectors can see the charms up close and compare the hallmarks to their own so they can verify authenticity.
I think it is a bit on the pricey side, but their charms are very large from what I can see. I only own several of their rings, and they are sturdy and nice quality!
So I am not into Disney, Marvel or GOT charms either. And because of your transparency I subscribed to your channel. I like your designs and your commentary. Looking forward to watching your videos.

unfortunately no, that’s why we should be careful with how we wear them because they will stretch or to make sure what size we get when we first purchase. if yours stretched a lot, maybe you can wear it as a choker? I know mine before I sold it stretched almost two whole inches if memory serves.
I get your opinion on the Disney collections and the pricing and what that entails etc. But also Pandora as a global company is focused on the majority of consumers. They are 100% sustainable now. They use 100% recycled metals including they’re solid metals like 14k white and yellow gold. The prices are very well placed to be as affordable for all. We all have our own opinions on how we chose to spend our money and I would say it’s annoying to hear to say time and time again that the price was to high for any of the items etc. As a collector of pandora myself, I think everything is reasonable considering every charm is handmade and handset stones in each one and no one charm will ever look exactly the same. For me I think about the craftsmanship of each item and that’s what I’m paying for. As far as saying pandora takes ideas from other brands and replicates them I think that you can say that for any brand in any market being clothes, shoes, handbags etc. I’m not saying they don’t have similar designs to other brands but they also have uniqueness to what they create.
@@MyXpressions not here to go back and forth on your page. I’m 33 do with that as you please if you think that matters on how long I’ve collected. I have owned many of all the items they offer. Moments collections, timeless collections, newer pandora Me collections, GOT and Disney. In all the metals, silver both plated and solid metals. We all have our own taste in what we like and don’t like cool. Not a problem. We have opinions on things cool not a problem. Just don’t leave out what it takes to make these pieces individually when deciding what to say of each one. Yes their demographic as a global brand has changed many times over the years but there always something that speaks to each person who chooses to shop there for whatever reason.
girl I just asked you because I’ve collected since 2008, if you’ve just started then you have no idea about the quality they used to offer. That’s my biggest sticking point. You say you don’t want to go back and forth, which is fine, but you never answered my question. Regardless of Disney and personal taste and everything else, the bottom line is they have been offering much lower quality for exorbitant prices. Don’t believe me? Google yourself old pandora catalogs and you can see how much the prices have changed. Buy yourself an older vintage pandora charm and marvel at the weight of the charm and compare it to the crap they are churning out now. I come from a place where I know what quality is, and what they are offering isn’t it anymore. I admit it, I am bitter and stuck in the past and I wish they had never changed their quality but here we are. I also realize that gold and silver has gone up and there’s inflation as well and blah blah blah, but what I don’t think is right is that they will retire good weighty charms and replace them with cheaper and more lightweight charms and charge more than the original charms that were replaced. And even with those issues, I will still occasionally buy an item from them from time to time because some of their designs are just too cute. I just mourn the days when whole collections were irresistible and I had to buy it all. Now it’s surprising if I like more than two or three items. But like I say in all my videos, to each their own…you do you and don’t let anyone, especially me deter you from buying what you want. If it makes you happy, do it, I’ll do the same and save my money for other brands that I feel deserve my money.
LOL I try to be fair...it's because I am a long time collector and I know what the quality used to be so it's very hard for me to accept this new stuff as is. It really is giving the customer less for these ridiculous prices.

I work at pandora and I’m obsessed with your videos, I obviously have my faves but I love when people roast them too! We all have our own style! I’m from the uk and the biggest thing that gets me is how expensive your prices are in the us! The wavy blue og muranos are £25 here which on a google search is just under $30 so the fact they’re over $50 is insaneeeee

And yes I enjoy roasting them, especially since I have been a long time collector, i know the quality that they used to bring to the table. It really bothers me that they don't think customers are on to them, that they have stopped making heavy, good quality charms only to replace them with smaller, cheaper versions for more money!

The Valentine’s collections has never been my favorites from Pandora. It’s always the same old stuff. I hate the two part dangles and the writings on them. The bales are thin now and dangles have gotten smaller. And yes they copied Ohmbeads on the glass. I do like the ME line, but didn’t see anything new that I liked.
YEs same here, I only liked the four charms and it's nice they brough back the love line. Pandora hs lost their identity I think, they have lost creativity and have resorted to openly copy other brands now smh. You are also not the only one who is tired of the two part disc charms with all the unecessary engravings on them, you're like the third or fourth person who has expressed that lol

I'm so glad I was able to make you laugh!! IT's also nice to know that others share my opinion over the plated jewelry, I do see the appeal and the affordability but I jjust can't bring myself to buy something that they upcharged because of the plating only for it to wear off in six months smh.

I actually like the teal bead you're not enthused about, but I love teal. 😊 Very pretty hematite beads, didn't know Trollbeads made them until recently. Would love to see your design with them and the special pair of rutilated quartz. Do you wear some beads on a bangle? One way of wearing your orphan beads anyway
yes i thought of mini designs for the bangle, unfortunately ive "outgrown" my current bangle size LOL, could use a bigger size to wear them more comfortably. wish they weren't so expensive!

yea i knew that already, i actually got into trouble because I made a video YEARS ago about how I found trollbeads on walmart and i got a cease and desist from the company selling them because I questioned their authenticity.
