I brush a drop of oil in the container before poaching my egg it avoids all sticking and takes only seconds to washout, the palaver going on with the cleaning in this video you may as well have used a pan! Also, when poaching my egg, I add hot water, and it poaches perfectly every time.
You wasted too much water. You must not cook much because cooked eggs are not going to just rinse away. The proteins are what make them stick to surfaces
@@AcousticPaintIn photoshop you can play with the levels to create more clean black and white shepse to apply to a block to print with, they also use this technique to make stencils to cut wood with.
I’m not against frying pan, but there is some workplace where there’s nowhere to cook only have a microwave and this is convenient ! Especially during night shift
Idea: Maybe after you paint and shade your art, you could outline it in ink or pen so the small white borders between colors are covered. That is what I do with most of my art, but everyone has different styles.
Hey, just wanted to say I relate a lot to you being in a transition stage of my life, and I'm glad this got recommended to me. The art came out great too by the way.
This was for inktober, so I had a theme of trying to include the red/orange ink in each piece. I'm pretty experimental with my style usually, although it can get tedious if I stick to one thing for too long.
"splash" 🤦🏻♂there's so many *opinions* about what a splash is. With that cleaning, it looks like a bigger pain in the butt than getting out a skillet and doing it the traditional way.
This is really helpful! I have a massive collection of wolf & fox figures I’ve accumulated from multiple Michaels and Hobby Lobby trips. I’ve always wanted to modify and carve them into creepy-cute figures, but the plastic on some of them are *hard* to cut through with an X-Acto knife and are durable (which isn’t a bad thing but makes it tricky). Today I randomly had the thought of putting them in boiling water to soften the figures before cutting, and decided to research everything first so I don’t end up with a 5 inch scar on my hand. Thank you. I appreciate it.
Great video, Elizabeth! I've enjoyed it very much and thanks so much for sharing your tips, information, and inspiration. As you do, I draw and color on flights and on my commutes to work. I wish you the best with your RU-vid journey with your art.🚆✏
Try to avoid using metal utensils (like your fork) when whipping the eggs, it might create scratches inside the container and make the eggs stick more, making cleaning more difficult. Stick to plastic or wood utensils, if you can.
I tried this first time today to get sunny side egg and middle was hard and edges weren't cooked...If the excuse is eggs were refrigerated it's ridiculous excuse...
No ink pen I've used in fifty years comes close to the line quality of a dip pen and the line variations that are possible take it to a totally different level.
