@@RouzerDZ the crazy dmg tbh was more from Critical Blow and the high amount of uptime I had in this match. Leviathan's Hide just offers some insane survivability if you get cleave games because you can keep high uptime on 16% DR.
Good stuff! Recently began grinding carnage in pvp myself, how many crit/alacrity augments do you prefer? And is there a relic stat steroid you prefer? Thanks!
I don't really remember my augment distribution, but I run a 1.3s gcd with carnage so I use 4000+ alacrity. Since I run high alacrity, I use crit/mastery relics
One thing i will suggest is using frenzy aggressively to get double bezerk of the bat. You get cd reduction anyways so its not that important to save it.
Yeah that's something I need to get better at utilizing. Side effect from starting off as a Fury main, I typically save it in case I need the instant 30 stacks
Ran Burning Bright in this match. As for rotation, less a rotation and more a priority. Want to try to keep the Tracer debuff on enemies, then Priming Shot, Heatseekers, Rail Shot, Blazing Bolts in that order of priority. In between those fill with Tracers, Rapid Shots, or other abilities
How did you heal so quickly you were about to die and your full life was filled at minute 1:09 you had full life what ability did you use or combine beforehand thank you very much
I was playing on a Mercenary, and if you look at my ability tree you'll see I have two talents selected at levels 64 and 73: strong kolto and trauma regulators. Strong kolto healed me rapidly up to 60% and trauma regs heal for 4% per stack once my shield falls off. My shield dropped with a full 10 stacks, giving me 40% hp back, and since strong kolto brought me up to around 60% hp, it healed me back to full
Tactical was Spiteful Saber. Less of a rotation and more of a priority: DoTs are top priority, Smash to spread DoTs if you can. Rupture with Blood Wave is pretty strong if you get good cleave like I had in this match
I tried to keep my team alive as long as possible but my keeping my DPS in range with all the knockbacks and their tendency to run away from me instead of towards me was just too much. We did much better in the first round when I could AoE heal them and myself through all the damage you were pumping into me. GGs!
I was experimenting with a 1.3s gcd build, so I had something like 5.5k alacrity (don't remember the exact number). They're a known troll on Star Forge who's been banned and has come back something like four times
@@pyropilot9126 Thanks for answer, I will try this as well, currently I'm running with more crit than alacrity. :) Geez that guy sounds mental and creepy. Im on Malgus, so never heard of him.
They say its not the spec, its the skill of the player! Well done. I want to do these ..how do I get started in my Ops career? I can't run Hammer Station any more and MM FP Q takes like hours to pop sometimes
Best advice I can give is to look for a raiding guild that's willing to teach newcomers to ops. Practice your main classes and make sure you know them well (i.e. know your damage rotations, movement abilities, defensives, etc.)
Combat is probably the best sentinel spec for pvp. It's the fastest, has the most burst, and baseline cc immunity. Watchman can pop off if you get good cleave or high uptime, but suffers from lack of burst and over-reliance on Spiteful Saber for its sustained. Tbh though with the state of pvp right now Concentration is still perfectly fine, even if it is a far cry from what it once was
