I'm running the same setup but the 5ft rod and the new version of the Sienna 500. $50 out the door and its a great little Ultralight setup. I use it for pretty much everything, trout, bluegill, crappie, smallmouth....its a pretty sweet creek rig. I run mostly Trout/Crappie Magnet, and Mule jigs from 1/32oz to 1/64oz and it throws them easily.
I dont know how long you view comments but I just got a chaterbait gave to me and I couldnt tell where the line goes in I would think the hook faces up. And the knot tied under blade. The ChatterBait is a bait I don't ever try like I dont gave faith in it another is a spinnerbait and jig. I would love to catch a bass with one of those. I always stuck with a worm. And crankbaits but after 4 years of just using those two i would like to catch a different way split dropshot looks fun
Just an FYI there are no native or wild reproducing trout in Georgia’s trout streams….only Brown Trout can naturally reproduce in the Hooch below Buford Dam, Toccoa, and Chatooga. The Brooke trout are the only native trout to southern Appalachia.
Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ru-vid.comUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
I grew up fishing here since I was 3 years old, I am 38 years now. I love this place, we go camping here every year. Can’’t wait to come back soon. Thanks for the video.
We will be in Hiawassee in two weeks,I've always wanted to trout fish the streams there,we'll be staying at lake chatuge,any advice would be great, am green behimg the ears lol
