Where is the display chip and how to test it? My S-8 was water-damaged before I could back it up. I can now hear it receive emails, texts and other notifications including the LEDs. I can reboot it and it vibrates accordingly but the screen is black. My screen was already shattered so bought a new one. I swapped the boards to a new frame and screen and changed the C-USB board and tried to clean up the connections on the boards but still no display. Thanks.

still no idea how to get the screen off.. seems this cannot be done from the battery side like battery replacement .. i have had to replace my tablet (samsung s2) battery 5 times because it swells up like aballoon.. enough to pop the tablet case apart. now i get cant charge cus of low battery temp.. how can i buy another samsung tablet when this one is just one long repair...

Do you know why my dads s7 won’t turn on?I replace the charging port circuit board .also with a gerenic battery from eBay putting the battery connector back wasn’t easy it gave me a hard time all I get is the blue light comes on then turns red and function keys light up but the screen don’t show anything now my dad is piss at me.I don’t know what’s wrong.
What is the brass pin connector that runs (VERTICAL) out of the 3 connectors on this iPhone 5c please, it's because I have managed to snap it away from the screen, everything seems to be working except the home button which was not working prior to it snapping anyway. A syrup spilled on my Note 3 and it stopped turning on. It just shows a dim light. I said water will wipe out the syrup and I removed the battery put it in a bucket of water for few minutes. then put it infront of a high speed fan. After few minutes I put the dbattery back and guess what? It died :( So I plan to put the phone on the sun for some minutes and see if the water will completely vaporise and probably the phone might start working once again.

Hello, just want to ask I have iPhone 6s, start charging the phone 60-70% suddenly off, try to change the battery I notice if I install the battery drain the voltage is 0. I try to check to computer using 3utools when I connect the phone vibrate but no reading, phone dead. I have another iPhone 6s also I think same proble no power,not charging, Then also may friend phone iPhone 6s suddenly drop cannot turn on, charging also, same checking battery, direct charge then connect suddenly drain to 0v. All same problem do you think u2 ic. Can you Help me its my first time. May Wife phone. And other friend phone. Please advice me what to check and change. Thanks for answering.
My problem is that the screen stopped working, but another screen on it works well. Unfortunately it is the wrong color. Is the new screen the only solution or can the old screen be repaired, by probably swapping some parts from the working screen to non functioning one.
hi,i am missing the big inductor coil next to the charging ic S358 on samsung galaxy 3.7.0 SM-210 and i would like to know its value so i can replace it .can you please help me to get the inductance value of this coil .on the schematics its L505. thanks
