I might be in the minority here but I am really glad that Gucci’s new highlighters impart only a subtle shine because that’s what I want for daytime/workplace. For the last 3 years, new highlighters have been too glittery to wear them during the day - and since I rarely go out at night, they’re all collecting dust. Honestly, if you’re working at a job where you need something super subtle I would recommend picking up shade one in the Gucci. It’s very very subtle not super glittery. Just a subtle shimmer. Yes it’s expensive. It is pretty like don’t get me wrong. It’s nice. It’s very pretty. It’s just not an overwhelming in your face bright highlighter which I’m used to. But this is beautiful and stunning if you’re looking for something super light flattering angelic, giving you that candle glow from within look then 100% I would recommend this I would also recommend the merit highlighter. It’s a cream stick formula. It’s also very subtle. I have a link in my met videos for their products. It’ll help you out. Just thought I’d mention it as a cheaper alternative So glad you enjoyed the video. Definitely stay tuned. I'm so sorry to hear about what you & your family have been through. I'm glad you're feeling better but please be kind to yourself as you continue to recover. My Mum recently spent 2 months in hospital & I've never known 8:54 so many people to have rare autoimmune conditions as I have in the past few years. My Mum is much better and back to being independent. I'm pleased you're back on RU-vid & I look forward to watching your content.
Hey beautiful, thank you so much for sharing it’s a beautiful message and I am pleased to hear that your mother is back on her feet and doing well. I know how incredibly debilitating it is being in the hospital for that long for me. They wouldn’t let me leave my hospital bed unless I literally got up to go to the bathroom I wasn’t allowed to walk around the floor or anything. They were so nervous I would fall/collapse and bruise and bleed internally cause my blood count was so low. Trust me, I totally understand how terrible rare autoimmune illnesses are Probably like yourself I wasn’t aware of such illnesses prior to getting it No one talks about these things. I’ll definitely do a follow-up video on where I’m not crying so much and I can actually explain to you guys more about what happened. I thought about that video for well just about a year till the day what I would say to you guys when I came back to RU-vid it went totally different in my head. There was so much more I wanted to get into. I figured it would be longer and I would go into more detail but when it came right down to it, I just sat there and I tried to explain it to you guys and I just cried reminiscing. It’s hard to talk about for sure. It’s very hard to bring it up because you’re emotionally reliving it and that’s really super hard. I’ll definitely do a follow-up probably in a week or two I’ll admit filming today’s video for you guys took a lot out of me because I was filming literally back to back videos that used to be so easy. I could film three videos in a day if I wanted to. Now.. apparently not so much it takes a lot out of you I wanna thank you for your incredible kind message. I am sorry also for your sister, whose life course is forever changed, and for your mother, who must have felt helpless and devastated by what you and your sister have been and are still going through. First off I’d love to thank you for such a beautiful message. You’re truly special and amazing and I’m so glad to have you here as a part of my bigger family on RU-vid. i’m truly blessed to have such amazing people in my life. I talked about it in the teaser video, but I didn’t talk about it in the actual video mostly because I started crying so much I kind of ended the video shorter than I wanted. I was gonna get into everything a little bit more deeper, but I just couldn’t continue filming in the moment, but I will do an updated video in a couple of weeks and I’ll fill you guys in on the rest of the story has believe it or not there’s more to it!! my sister was in one hospital. I was admitted into another. My mom was going back-and-forth between hospitals and she has suffered with heart problems over the last couple years ends up with heart surgery back in February. She’s doing all right, but it has been an uphill battle for everyone !! But luckily we’re on the mend ❤️🩹 🤗 I’m so overjoyed and excited to be back filming, yes, definitely you know it takes a lot out of your butt sitting there in my studio felt like the most exciting thing I’ve done in a year and well, let’s be honest it probably was lol 😂 I’m just happy to be back, thank you so much for writing. Autoimmune stuff SUCKS! I am currently battling hypothyroidism, as I cannot tolerate levo, Armour thyroid is banned in the UK, and it is a real problem to get liothyronine. I'm sorry you've been so sick. You've been through so much. It must have been very frightening not knowing what was wrong and having all these serious symptoms. You are such a brave lady, I would not be one bit surprised if you have some form of PTSD due to all of this. Please make sure you see someone for help if this is the case. I wish I could give you a big hug. I am looking forward to your videos as and when you are well enough to film. We can wait patiently until you are ready. YOU ARE INVINCIBLE!! Hey beautiful oh my gosh I have to tell you I find this so funny so last night camera guy and my editor are putting the finishing touches on the video and I was on my laptop making the write up that I always put in the description for the new video that will be launching in 24 hours and I said to camera guy “ do you want me to write a detailed description of what I have on my face in this video?” His a guy, and says “ I don’t think it’s necessary because you didn’t really talk about make up” lol 😂 and now here you are asking me what colour lipstick I have on I knew it. I totally knew it. I should’ve put a detailed description there like I always do lol 😂 next time I’m going with my gut. I’m gonna write it up anyways lol OK, so the lipstick I have on is Maybelline super vinyl ink in the colour 35 cheeky and the lip pencil I have on is also drugstore. It’s from Milani it’s called colour statement liner in number four. Honestly, I was cleaning all week in my studio the dust oh my gosh, and the puppy hair lol I would clean and clean and then have to like start all over again and clean and clean. I went through all of my makeup drawers. I didn’t show them it, but I pitched so much stuff because well number one I haven’t used it in a year so there’s that you know things expire and you’ll definitely be able to tell in the new video coming out in 24 hours. How lighter my complexion is without makeup on my skin is almost translucent. Concealer is my best friend right now. lol 😂 But I had to pitch so much and I went through all of my foundations true story I kept watching them on my face and on my chest, and I don’t know if it was just the combination of all of the products, but I ended up with this horrible rash It could just be you know a chemical reaction with the treatment I’m on. It was just like seriously lol 😂 enough is enough lol but I ended up keeping two foundations out of all of them and you can imagine how many foundations I have but the way I look at it. Everything I have is over a year old so we are starting fresh. So if you have any recommendations on any products that you’re absolutely loving right now that could be anything let me know cause I always love your recommendations always always always 🤗☺️ It absolutely sucks to hear about your situation, I myself have gone through hyperthyroidism and the only good thing about that illness is the weight loss lol but trust me, I know how sick you are and that absolutely sucks that you can’t tolerate though levothyroxine, I met someone many years ago who had a similar intolerance and she couldn’t take the levothyroxine. She told me she was taking something called thyroid which tripped me up because I’m like what and she goes. No, that’s what it’s called thyroid so if I’m remembering the information correctly, there was a drug out there called thyroid. I’ve never looked into it, but maybe this information would help you. I gained 60 pounds obviously you can tell from the video when I was watching it and I saw where I left off on RU-vid where we started the video how thin it was and then we cut to me in the present. I was like wow I’m definitely on a weight loss journey. Nothing as severe as we know last summer when I was going to the gym every day I have not gone to the gym in a year still paying for the membership, but I’ll definitely get there soon . Everything is a one day at a time uphill journey, but at least I’m feeling better enough to come back to RU-vid and I’m super thrilled to be back your messages over the months have really touched me and I want you to know that you’re such a strong, beautiful amazing person And you’re truly one of the best you mean the world to me OK, so there’s gonna be a brand new video in 24 hours so definitely stay tuned for that Talk to you soon Live, Love & Lipgloss 💄 xoxo 💋
@@LaceyElizabethDesigns THe one foundation you MUST try is the Louboutin tint fetiche. You would want shade 10C. Avoid the neutral shades as they pull very warm. This stuff can do no wrong. The tartelette tubing mascara is very good, and also the new tom ford pressed powder. The new Tom Ford foundation (the architecture one) is utter utter pants, so don't waste your money on that. Also, the sisley orchidee blushers in corail and pink are both lovely if you can find them at a discount. All Beauty website in the Uk does them half price. So that little lot should ruin your bank account. Makeup generally doesn't have expiry dates in the UK, so we don't take much notice. If something smells and performs ok, and hasn't separated (liquids) it is fine. I have an hourglass blush that is over 10 years old, and it is absolutely fine

Great question my surgery was a couple of years ago and I can’t remember the exact number of days but they did send me home with a care package full of information and I followed that, I showered, and I remember I had to leave the clear sticker that was over my incision on and then after a certain number of days, according to the information the Hospital sent me home with it said to remove that sticker It was extremely hard to remove the sticker and of course you have to be so gentle I would strongly recommend this following whatever information goes home with you after your surgery because that’s going to work the best for whatever they’ve done to close up the incision I recommend getting a pad of paper or a notebook and a bunch of pens as he won’t be able to talk for a little while They struggled with one side, removing my thyroid. The other side came out really easily and then the other side, not so much and that’s why it sounds very washing machine like very vibrating when I talk in the thyroid removal update video. But now, of course, my voice is gone back to normal, it did however take about maybe two months for it to go back to normal in my opinion And even to this day, I can’t raise my voice and yell at my sister the way I would want to sometimes hahah lol or I’ll lose my voice just a little bit I would recommend watching a voice coach on RU-vid and doing some vocal exercises during your healing process maybe two or three weeks after That’s what I did. I watched Cheryl Porter. She’s amazing and I would just follow along and do some vocal exercise exercises. It really helped strengthen my vocal cords and get my voice back. But again only do what is best for you and what was recommended by your doctor Hope this helps. I’m actually planning my return back to RU-vid. This is a super amazing question !! the Light Catcher I would put on as more of a finishing powder. I wouldn’t use it to set the entire face. The combination I love using is going in with the Charlotte Tilbury to set the face and then going in with the light Catcher powder just to finish off everything, under the eyes, a little on the forehead near the hairline and at the temples and just a little touch on the bone and cheek bone, just amazing.
