Wow! I work in primary care mental health services working mainly with people experiencing stress, anxiety and depression. I will be wholeheartedly recommending this video......as well as using it myself when I hist the mid afternoon slump!
Does this have medical benefits? Do you have a drumming exercise before sleep? It sounds contradictory but who knows if it puts the children to sleep , anything goes. Well done for teaching us
Good question, actually I have a rhythm exercise for sleep that you can try. It's surprisingly helpful: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8wWpA8o6IGg.html
I've been quite overwhelmed and stressed lately. I have undiagnosed anxiety and who knows what else. I was just sitting on the toilet while watching this video while following along. After about 30 seconds it started drowning out all the sounds around me and I became relaxed. I don't know what you've stumbled upon here but I like it. Btw love your music 🤘
I was unable to sleep wiyh my brain racing away all day and night, I have not yawned for over 5 months!! I researched the negative effects of not sleeping and got scared, people were talking about the effects of not sleeping for a full 8 hours and the effects of sleeping 4 to 6 hours...I was not sleeping at all, that got me REALLY scared. So I started looking for a solution. I have watched many TEDx Talks before but I kinda doubted one would help me. So I start watching you and thinking to myself how could this guy help my situation? He slept 4 hours... thats way better then me! then I tried your technique and a yawn burst out naturally and after that I fell asleep. Thank you so much dude!!

I bet it would help them to be calmer, which can often help with concentration. I think it's worth trying. I'd love to hear how it goes! Give it a few tries.
Brilliant. The last thing I can remember in the morning is thinking I should slow the tempo down after a few minutes of tapping. After that thought I just blackout every night. Is there any science research done on this technique? Very interested in reading about is. Did not believe it at first but after trying this it helped me go to sleep a lot sooner. Thanks for sharing man.
@@JimDonovanMusic Thanks for the reply. Sleep has been great. I also cut caffeine and sugars and now I do not get sleep paralysis anymore. It used to be an every night/morning thing.
I love you are still playing shows Jim. It's defiantly weird not seeing you on the drum kit, but awesome anyway way you look at it. Wish I could see the whole set, but love what was shared
