The Sailing Rode is about sharing experiences sailing local waters and learning the skills we need to someday permanently cast off the lines. -Steve&Brandy
I really want one of these to tow from my home in northern sc and be able to weekend anywhere from coastal nc to southern goergia. Florida is within range aswell esp for a 3 or 4 day weekend. Knock the rust off my sailing skills and add to my skillset with more experiance before i make the big trips toward Europe.
I did not see the rocna vulcan in that comparison. The mantus is a better anchor than the delta and the rocna rollbar . But it is no comparison to the Rocna vulcan. But don't take my word on that see it for your self go to sv panope on youtube. ( the anchor tester) and see for yourself
Im mow lawns all day standing 1 foot away from the exhaust for hours, 5 days a week. Its comical reading the comments how hes going to get carbon monoxide poisoning.
My husband and I bought a MacGregor 26M last summer and your set up is exactly what we're planning. Two questions I have: 1. How do you prevent items from essentially rolling around in your storage spaces to other storage spaces (i.e. mirrored seat to the stem)? 2. where did you find the suction cup paper towel holder?! I can't find one anywhere! Thanks! Love the video.
This is an older video but I do have a question if you still monitor the comments. Did you purchase a longer tent than one designed specifically for the length of your truck bed to allow for the raised platform? I like the idea but I think if I raise the deck, the tent will not be long enough to tie down across the tailgate unless I get one that is longer than what is recommended for my truck. I have a standard full size 6’-6” truck bed.
Cool stuff. This gear is worth as they say, it's weight in the best best crew. However a 20-inch 3/8 inch line can replace that bow roller gizmo noise deflector thingamazig.
I do this on my Sailboat. If you stick a small section of paper towel in the back on the lower lip it will wick the water out so when you pick it up it won't dump water everywhere. I just bought a 8000 btu portable air conditioner for my 25 foot Cabin Cruiser and it works sweet.
Hi folks, would you be able to make the title 'American Hunter' please? The British Hunter is a different brand and it would be great to differentiate the two. Thanks in anticipation of your help.
I realize this tutorial is from 5 yrs ago .. I’m from south Texas and i like your idea for the ac .. can you show the stand in more detail .. that’s a great idea and like to make it ..
