I like your lunch but I am 1/2 German and I love anything pickled(exept herring) and I love olives black and green. Our tomatoes are not doing well either, it was hot as hades now its in the low 80s high 70s and overcast and light rains. They are not getting red. I AM WORRIED. She has a billion cherry tomatoes but I cant can them. Our tomatoes are in cages and are 7 feet and taller. Tonite we found worms on our dill....green with thick yellow stripes and thin black stripes(black swallow tail caterpillar or know as the parsley worm) we chucked em in the back of our property so they can turn into butterflys.
Love your hoe! Great onion harvest and I appreciate being shown how to do the onion braid!! Using a circle of twine looks faster and easier to hold the brain together. I dehydrate my onions because there is something in the oil in onions that doesn't agree with me. Less storage space needed, just like freeze-drying them.
Mark, that fold out deal as you called it is a luggage rack that fit on the running boards of a model A and you set your suitcases in them. When you see those old bells look at them and above the bell on that bracket or on the bell will be a number.....like a 5 lets say and that means when the teacher rang that bell it was guaranteed to be heard at 5 miles away. Our neighbor at our cabin collected them and he had 1 thru 8 and geez were they loud. I hate thieves! Sorry that happened to you.

Lots of items collected over a long time farming. I could not believe the price of the bell and that sign! Those glass chicken waterers must be old, do not remember seeing ones like that. Good price on those canning jars, in my area they are much higher. Love those signs. Love that you got that Farmall cub! You made out great! Enjoyed this very much. Thanks for taking us along.
Hey Mark and Kelly! Love the field trip videos! I will have to say that a lot of those tractors did not look like the tractors I grew up around in the 70's. I remember my dad doing tractor pulls and everyone just brought their tractor that they used on the farms and competed. Those were the days. i loved the tricycle races. WOW Blueberry wine was awesome! And the JD "wanted" almost went to the rides on the midway. At first it looked like he had so much torque he was going to twist his frame . The 69 chevy step side in primer was nuts. Thunderstruck is from Fremont,Ne. by Omaha, And I love your friends Dodge power wagon,But I love all Mopar. Thanks for taking us along....I have never seen that many full pulls ever. They have so much horse power now days they will have to extend the track. We have one more race in North platte on Saturday Sept. 21st,They will have lawnmower demos there also. I will try and send you a video of the combine demos I filmed 2 weekends ago in Wahoo at our last demo derby our kids were in.
Hey Mark and Kelly! We actually have a company coming out tomorrow to take down a tree and dig up two stumps. Video was great timing. Hi Mark. I had that done to three large spruce tree stumps. Same machine. The mistake I made was thinking the ground up wood and soil mixture could be just put back in hole. Not a good growing media, should have hauled it away and back filled with topsoil. Just my experience. Be Well
That was really interesting to watch!! Now I want that piece of equipment to play with!!! They do a great job and I hope their business takes off for them!! I love it when people see a need, learn (or have) the skills necessary to create a business in that arena and go for it!! Those gentlemen are not lazy and they take pride in their work!

What brand freeze dryer are you using? Is it from Amazon? I know you told us info when you got it but I can not find it now. You are inspiring me to want one! Kelly is a master at that freeze drying now. Love to watch you both working together in the kitchen.
