My name is Matt Aguirre and I am a local REALTOR in New Braunfels, TX. I created this channel to show off my great city and provide you information on what it is like to live, work, and play in New Braunfels. We absolutely love this town and our #1 goal is to showcase every inch of New Braunfels through our videos so you have a complete understanding of the best area that fits your lifestyle!
I have been in the area since 1999 and moved to New Braunfels in 2009. Having been a police officer in New Braunfels I know the ins and outs of the city quite well, from where to live to where to eat. There is no doubt New Braunfels has become one of the best places to live, as it has been ranked the third fastest growing city in the nation.
So when (not if) you decide to pull the trigger and move to New Braunfels, be sure to reach out to me so I can make that move even smoother.

I’m originally from Chicago and can confirm some texans are terrible drivers. Some people drive like they are in the movie fast and furious. 😂 I’ll remain in the far right lane until I learn how to drive like a Texan.
These bad drivers were probably bad drivers before they moved to Texas. Guess what these people bring all their bad habits with them. If it so bad here then y’all leave. Cut back on our over crowding traffic housing demands. I love Texas been here for 62 years lived in nb in the 1950’s
My daughter and her family live outside of Menard. Sometimes they have a huge population of feral hogs hanging out in certain areas and my daughter tells me that some rattlers have stopped sounding their alarms because it draws attention to them from the feral pigs and they desecrate their populations. Can you imagine rattlesnakes that do not use their rattle?
I'm so excited to see you putting videos up again! Almost two years for us here, and we still love it. We take 1863 to 281 for shopping and dentist appt because it's so beautiful and relaxing. Fred says 'hi'. Matt you were awesome to work with and we highly recommend you to anyone who is looking to move to NB.
Glad your back Matt! Your right, I visited San Antonio and NB, the drivers are so bad. No one gives you the right of way including no right of way for Pedestrians.
Matt! Missed you and welcome back! Dawn and I moved to New Braunfels from Alaska while you were away. We absolutely love it here! Almost a year now! Glad you’re doing well.
Never come to this town, ever. I’ve been stuck here my entire life and it’s rotten with crime and lack of education here is destroying. My best friend and girlfriend were both shot here, and guess what, city will never do anything about it. But it’s hard to leave, it’s a nasty hood that has no opportunity for success. Go to New Braunfels. There are underlying pedophiles and drug dealers everywhere. Just stay safe.
There actually is a small bus service run by the city fir years now. Its stops at places like TLU, walmart, downtown seguin, library and a few others. Runs every day and its inexpensive. They are a few job opportunities with the city also and since the making of this video there have been dozens of new businesses opened.
My friend she will visit me in July and I am just researching what is fun to do in Texas and I choose to take her to River. Thank you so much for knowing all that stuff. I appreciate you.
We hope you’re still a realtor in 2-4 years when we are planning to move to New Braunfels from South Carolina! Your videos have been very helpful in making us fall in love with the city! Auston has family in Schertz and grew up there as a child and with Tabitha first visit to Texas this past April she fell in love with the area! So we hope to be Texans soon enough!
We like your video! What happens when builder demands you use their preferred lender? We just purchased a new Adams Home. We did not choose the preferred lender but what happen to us was a nightmare: Before we purchased, we verified with salesman Alex Lapine that we could use our Space Coast Credit Union. Alex said that we could use our credit union. As deceased wounded warrior and honorable veterans' family we applied for and qualified for military hero's loan with our credit union. Our hero's loan was approved, credit union provided multiple preapproval letter to builder, we locked in our rate, credit unions appraiser reached out to Alex to gain entry to home and appraisal done on 03/20/2024. The only item needed was the CO certificate of occupancy which was delayed to due electric company needing to install line. Co was finally issued on 4/17/2024. That is no way the fault of our credit union. Credit union reached out to Adams for copy the "CO" which was only item needed to close on 4/30/2024. Adams home office refused to provide CO and stated they did not know we were using credit union. They demanded we change to their preferred lender. Their preferred lender requested we pay $6000 in points to get an interest rate that even higher than our hero's loan rate. We did not have $6000. We were then threatened by salesmen Adams home and his boss that we close with on time with preferred lender or be sued for $25K We had to close with Adams preferred lender and now have almost $500 more a month mortgage and their preferred lender caused us to close 2 days late. I do not know if Adams main Corp office knows of this activity or would condone this behavior to any military family. As a senior citizen this was our first NEW house ever. Our financial institution lender wrote Adams office and explained we have been working with them since 09/2023 and they have also spoke to Alex Lapine. Adams office still refuse to let us use our hero's loan.
Ppl moving from California are fleeing as their communities are destroyed. If they bring their ideals with them they will destroy the areas that they move to. Is this a locust plague that brings ruin wherever they go…. ? Time will tell.
Public transportation is a factor considered in most reviews such as this. Lack of this resource is detrimental for many individuals who, for whatever reason, have no access to independent mobility.
Based in North Texas here. NB is a great town, but like many of the sub/exburbs in TX, some engage in this deep red political foolishness that less about running a town and more about forcing an agenda. That's why you if you don't like it, you either run for office yourself or vote 'em out, plain as that. I say the same to my right-leaning friends if they moved to a major city like D/FW, Austin, SA, ect.. Also: I tell this to my fellow Texans all the time: Don't blame folks from CA for your local/state government not properly working to control cost of living or engaging in proper infrastructure planning/upkeep. Again, that's why voting matters kids Love your videos boss, keep up the solid work..
Come on man. Most Americans can’t even afford something like this. Still overpriced even though you get more bang for your buck in Texas. I get what you are saying but still overpriced by at least 15-20%. And I am a home owner (bought my house in 2019 with Tri Pointe) in SoCal when prices were in the mid to high 200ks. If I bought that house right now I would be house poor. 😂
