In my humble opinion, light would be an important limiting factor as well. I would like to see it done with some form of light my experience even with a low par light. You have better plant grows over 30 to 90 day period

@PilotLightMedia Месяц назад
Thank you for watching. Indeed, light is a critical factor. We used natural light for this, and both containers received the same amount of light. An electric light on a timer would have made for better growth. Although, we wanted to focus on the fertilizers performance alone, all other factors being equal. We are repeating other versions of this experiment and we will be releasing those videos soon.

Isn't Seachem Flourish basically "Micro Nutirents" or "Trace Elements"? Why not use an all in one fertilizer that has Macro Nutrients instead like Nitrogen, Potassium & Phosphates
@PilotLightMedia
@PilotLightMedia 5 месяцев назад
Indeed, Seachem Florish does contain many nutrients and is a great stand alone product for plants. It enhances tap water and is safe for aquatic animals. You can boost this with the NPK enhancers individually. The amount of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium can be customized depending on the plants you keep. All In One Fertilizers work great for some builds, and is convenient to work with. We plan on repeating this experiment with other fertilizers and mixes, please stay tuned. Thank you for watching.

I'm curious what a third sample with root tabs would do. Probably nothing for the hornwart, but since plants take up most of their nutrients from roots, I'd think root tabs would exceed water born fertilizers.

Thank you for watching. I am curious too. This is an excellent idea for another experiment, and a future video!

I like the idea. The experimental setup could be improved by having another brand of liquid fertiliser or growing the plants with solid fertiliser. So you have a control and then two different explanatory variables.

Thank you for watching! I agree, and I am in the process of repeating this with another brand or two. I will make another video of the results.

haha maybe black kow soil that stuff is amazing, I had centipede grass germinate after 3 days, which normally takes up to 30 days to germinate, I've wanted to put some in an aquarium substrate.

From my many experiences as a fish keeper trying to get ghost to breed it’s awe full I don’t keep ghost anymore . I have a clear neocarsinia that was thrown by my blue dreams and I’m not talking wiled type I’m talking clear you can only see the food in there mouths or you will miss them . Much easier and breeds profligacy
