About pressure pounds in puq press. Is there any difference? For example: 30 pounds for what? 60 pounds for what? Etc. The only that i know is the higher pressure, the higher extraction.
Distilled water and add your own minerals? Man, you must have awful tap water. Here in Anchorage, and in Michigan where I used to live the tap water was just fine.
it would be nice to show assembly, as I got some parts that I've no idea how to attach, also you didn't show the pre-rinse for first time making the coffee after turning on the machine..
my puck was watery today and it did taste good maybe a bit less coffee shot and slight weakness too the bold taste but still good Happy to see that it may be okay tho ill extend the shot to get a slightly more MG of coffee
I don't think a vacuum will take out the fatty residue of coffee beans in which the dusty coffee particles will make the grinder come to a grinding halt. Admitting, there aren't that many solvents to clear out fat. Maybe only a CO solvent used in electronics. But who dares..?
Es ist eine billige Mühle, die für Filterkaffee entwickelt wurde. Sie ist einfach zu bedienen und die EK43 ist besser für Espressokaffees im Rollstuhl geeignet
why a drop of water left inside the sight glass? arey they not draining their machine in the factory before sell? what if now winter and outside minus 10?
I bought a Ceado E37J coffee grinder, immediately opened it to look at the burrs and saw chips on the cutting edges of the burrs, contacted Ceado and did not receive an answer, that is, the stated 3-year warranty does not work. I do not recommend this company's products.
I always have a wet puck and the coffee tastes awful, Have a new Beville smart grinder, could that be the problem? Friends have tried to help, but can't understand it either. Any suggestions?
Hmm, there’s many possibilities that can occur. Watery puck can mean you are under dosing or not putting enough amount of your coffee ground. I suggest for double shot to be 16~22g of ground coffee. Even decimal can be a big change. You’ll have to adjust the amount for your best shot. I suggest to use freshly roasted (within 1-3 weeks) medium to dark for espresso. When you say it tastes awful, is it burnt, or is it sour? If burnt, that means extraction is too slow; you have to adjust the grind to be more coarse. Sour, due to fast extraction; the coffee ground needs to be more fine. Coffee making is all about experimenting and dialing in. Even with instructions that came with the package of coffee, we still need to alter the recipe for our best preference.
