I’ve found them at goodwill just for fun! I got a 50th anniversary one without the lid for 99 cents! I just got a resort one for $1.50 with purple lid last week to add some Disney fun at home!
I loved celebrating my birthday at Disney. I loved every minute of it. I even got a surprise vip tour. Also lots of goodies. I’ll never forget. It was also my first time staying on property.
If you are a rope dropper & have the early entry for MK I would select Tiana & rope drop Peter Pan then by park open you have 2 top tier rides done or selected. I thought the same - select other rides ride after park opening to try for the other top tier rides.
YES! This was a previous FP technique but right now people RUN to 7 Dwarfs...so you have to pick, lol. So really, it depends on Ride Goals. Thanks for watching/commenting!
@MermaidNinaTravels I like the other hack you mentioned. Our 1st park day we will be driving in & won't get to EPCOT until 1PM. Book Remy for 2pm & book 2 others we don't really care about for park opening - let those expire & as we are driving book Frozen & then Soaring. So we enter the park with all 3 top tier rides.
So let me ask if my 14 yr old and I want to ride Tiana Bayou around 9am but my husband and 8 yr old will not, husband is scared of heights and my 8 yr old it's not to fawn of big rides yet. Soooo in order to ride ut I have to select Tiana Bayou 7 days as we will be resort guest. Once the day if the park we can then modify so that both my husband and younger son can select Peter Pan for their first fancy ride if available? I know my husband will and young son will get on this ride only cause it's not as intense as Tiana Bayou. But just to confirm we can modify if ride us available? Second once we ride the first attractions we can now select another ride by my question is do we have to wait for the 120 minute rule? So let's say first ride at 9am, 2nd ride selected for 3pm and third ride selected for 7pm. So after riding the first ride I can automatically select a new ride without having to wait for the 120 minute rule?
@MermaidNinaTravels ohhhhh ok got it. Let me tell you I've watched different videos about it and left my head scratching, after watching your video it all made sense now lol thank you.
Another great video! Also, if you have to buy medicine and forget your dropper/syringe, the pharmacy department at wherever you are shopping will give you one for free 😊
Most excellent and clear explanation for someone who never used the later versions of fast pass but used DAS during those years. Fast forward 10 years, and am finally going again! DAS is not going to be a thing with the changes, so I need to soak up all the knowledge. I will be awaiting any of your updates, as you really hit this one out of the park. Thanks, Mermaid Nina!
When park hopping, once you use a pass and are ready to book a new pass at your second park, does it have to be a ride in the same "tier" as the one you just used? So, if I use a pass for small world can I make my next pass for Frozen, or do I only get to choose from tier 2 rides?
True!! But the price will be different each day, each park so really...we won't know the exact price we will pay until its our day to purchase, if that makes sense. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Best video on this that I’ve seen ❤ thank you Nina. Love the tip to let a ride time expire 1st thing in morning to try n grab a 2nd tier 1 ride before they are gone
They stop the deal on refills at disneyland 😪 i bought a popcorn bucket 🪣 and went to get a refill and they said i pay full price 😒 why even get the bucket and why is no one talking about this . I think it's horrible. that's one more magical thing taken away from us
does anyone have tips for making the lid stay on better? (would cover with plastic wrap or parchment paper first before putting the lid on maybe make it tighter/stay on better?) has anyone tried this?
I like the character buckets because they have the lanyard and I can "wear them" vs "carrying them." - do the handles on the standard buckets have the same attachment style as the character buckets? (i.e. could I remove the handle on the standard bucket and attach a lanyard so that it's "wearable?")
so I don't have to use my first Tier1 ride before booking another Tier 1 ride? (I can use my lower tier ride first/scan into it then book a Tier 1 ride if available?)
wondering if I am going to two parks in one day due to a special event (halloween party, christmas party, etc.) will the system allow me to book rides in both parkseven tough I dont have a park hopper ticket? ...Since you can go into the parks at 4 with a party ticket, even though the party (no lightning lanes needed) doesn't officially begin until 7?
do the water and tea dispensers at the resorts have a chip reader? Or would it be possible to bring and use an an older mug if I don' t want soda and coffee?
I’m looking forward to your video when this goes live! Ready to learn all that there is to know before our next trip! I was hoping they were going to change 7 dwarfs from individual lightning lane to a tier one for multi pass
Guess they have to do something, otherwise there would be like 7 rides in Tier 1 for Multi Pass. Still wish it was just ONE system of passes, but whatever, lol. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Such good info. And it brings the best (and worst lol) of fast pass and genie+ together. Can't wait for you pov video when you guys use this at thw park! I never got to use genie+ because i wasnt at disney when it was a thing but just because of your videos i felt so ready hahaha. And now with you im sure ill be ready for this when i go for my 40th birthday in 2026 haha
My ticket is for 9/6-9/10 so I’m assuming I can book 3 days in advance. It’s crazy I was just mentioning to Scout Ears that I spent so much time learning Genie Plus now I have to unlearn and learn the new Multi Pass Lightening Lanes. Thank you for a more detailed breakdown.
I am looking forward to seeing your video when this is actually live and how it will work. I just watched your genie+ videos for our future trip and felt ready lol. I hope this works out. Back on our 2018 trip I could not book FOP 60 days out- that is my biggest concern. Rides being booked up before my 7 day window opens. I know FOP is individual LL now but same idea with the most popular tier 1 rides. We do not purchase LL as a family of 5 it gets way to pricey.
I’m not sure how to handle our toddlers that aren’t tall enough to ride. Hopefully we can preschedule single pass without paying for toddlers that can’t ride.
I’m excited about the new system except that off site and on site don’t have the same amount of time to schedule. It seems like you should get the same perks if you are paying the same price for it.
Disney has always offered those staying on-site this perk. Its always been this way. Disney has great values and great prices which also give people the same perk.
@@MermaidNinaTravelsyes, I know that. But in the past the system was free. Now, if paying the same price for the same service, why make it better for some and not others?
Disney is having a difficult time filling their hotel rooms at their inflated prices, so they are offering this as an incentive to pay even more for this service. So now you pay for Multi-Pass AND you pay an extra $100-$400 a night to stay on property. Pretty slick.
Ohh, I was waiting for your video on this, I really like your explanations. Would you consider doing a video on the new DAS, maybe with feedback from guests you booked for? Edit: my husband said VPN should work with the app too, I'll report back in late October haha!
Awesome! Sadly due to the sensitive nature of DAS, I feel its best to discuss that with Disney during the Video Chat. Its really the ONE video that I think should stay off social media. Thanks for watching/commenting!
I am keeping an open mind but i will miss the LL. I averaged 5-7 LL each time i purchased it, and i went to Disney 4 times last year. I will miss the abilities to STACK because i liked to go to the park later in the day as a solo guest.
I got one for. Y dad and now he doesn’t lose his wallet or cell phone p. 😂😂😂 I have both the 1L and 2L. I normally take the 1L for parks since I out it in my waist since I carry a small Kipling backpack. I use the 2L for a quick errand if I do t want to take my Medium Crescent Baggu.
Problem can be when your window to book is here all the tier 1 rides can already be sold out for your park day from people who booked days before your time.
At this time, I assume its like Dining...might be split dates since split arrival dates. I never suggest Split Stays for this reason. We will find out soon enough, thanks for watching/commenting!
@@MermaidNinaTravels I was excited for our split stay this August between beach club and the poly. But I'm seeing how much of a hassle it is! Lol thank you for the info!
I am doing 4 parks one day. Happens 7/14, my flight leaves at 5:30 back to NY. I am studying hard for the Genie plus and individual lightning lane tutorials. The new change is not till 7/24. So I am on the old system.
