Why are you sailing with the dagger board not even located correctly? Whilst on a broad reach it doesn't need to be fully down, but still requies a 3rd to 2/3rds down. You need to to counter the sail's center of pressure which is high above the pivot point; the longitudinal axis at the deck watermark. Also, you camera angle suggest your body is high. It needs to be lower, keeping the C of G low. The combination of no dagger board, high center of pressure and C of G is why you capsized.
Maybe a pre tied foot loop that coud be flipped over the high side would give a bit of a chance to support your keepmyou from having to swim/ hold on and focus the weight (I am a couch sailer so just thinking oit loud here).
Great ideas the red tape on the port side tubes and the lanyard on the dagger board. I haven't capsized YET, and somewhere I have heard this. When righting the tiwal have you tried first rotating it so the sail is facing the wind? That way when the sail comes out of the water the wind will help push. Great video as always! Len
The reason why I did not post those 2 songs and the intro is because the quality of my video was bad. I am trying to fix this as much as possible and post soon. If not, I will post as is.
Great job on the band & all. The lead singer's got to be in his 60s🤔 yet didn't miss a note. The band played the correct "retro" style the song originally had in the mid 1980s. I'm quite impressed! 😎
Hi Sir, I am writing from Taiwan, l have been following your channel for a while. I noticed your Tiwal 3 has been added an extra boom on this video. Does it from Tiwal 3R? Would you mind sharing the details? Thank you and happy sailing!
