I reckon keep it open too. Youre probably gonna have a loada shizzle, bikes etc stored against the 'car park' wall, so it's almost guaranteed that any doors would be blocked!
Superb. Fantastic progress. Lozenge! That's what happens to cabinets when they land on a corner, they lozenge. I was having a glass of 'ribena', a nice Douro from Aldi, when you got to the paintbrush/teacup interface. I may have to change my t shirt.
Your doing a wonderful job. I wish I could do the same. Your an inspiration, thank you for all the work and the funny stuff. I always have a little chuckle when you come out with stuff.
Love the pull-out ramp idea Eadsie. It's the sort of thing that folk would hardly notice but will hoover up loads of time and grey matter to get right. Good luck! 👍
Looking good. You've put some serious work into this so far and it's looking great. I was recommended to pugvis more sockets than I thought I would need and I still need. I also put in an uprated mains supply cable to accommodate welding, which hasn't happened......but I could have, if I had a welding machine and I knew how to use it. Don't overdo things. I can understand the push to get finished but you want to enjoy the finished article, not spend a month recuperating from the exertion. Who knew that watching someone building a shed could be so watchable.?
I have a spirit level exactly the same down to the bubbles only mine is in red. Great job on the shed its looking great. Good move using sockets with USB's I need to change some in my house and garage but I dont want to mess with all the wiring, Its not that i can't do it, im just not motivated enough to start messing. I wired the ringmains in the house but got the pro in to check it and wire it to the consumer unit. Did an ok job as the house didnt burn down. I struggle with multiple switches and how to wire them although I do have a "which" book of electrical and wiring lol. I supose if you do it all the time it becomes second nature. Now the few days of summer are here i tend to not do anything because If I get too hot im the same, cant think, cant do anything, Im ok till sweat starts running down my face then im done. Once ive cooled down im ok again and can carry on. The othe issue is energy, im knackered so easily nowdays. I get a sweat on wiring a plug lol. Theres so much I want and need to do but no oomph to do it which drives me mad because my brain is going ape saying get it done lol. Oh the joys of getting older. Currently unable to do anything I have planned as ive ripped my calf muscle so got a fat leg and cant walk much. Again great to see the shed coming along so well. Looking forward to the next episode. Keep well.
Another fab video Eddie, good progress, re the varnish I wouldn't coat the wood, bare wood will take some of the moisture out of the atmosphere hence why tools etc won't go rusty like the would inside your old metal shed or a brick built garage. My main workshop is a wooden structure and I never suffer with rust on my Lathe, Milling machine etc.
The U.K. was founded and saved by men in sheds and on the back of fag packets , ie the ski jump for harriers on invincible class carriers , so your doing a good job in keeping tradition going 👍
Hi ya , I reckon I’d leave the wood as is , natural , if you varnish or paint u will need to do again , also jotting on the bare wood is a nice history of things you do 👍🍻
Fantastic. Youve worked hard on that shed and done a lovely job on it. Looking forward to you gettng the lecky installed and the worktop in. Its going to be a great mancave.
I got loads of Einhell 18v stuff. My power drill stopped functioning and making a whirring sound. Stripped it apart an found some small pins inside the sprag gearing had come loose. Put it all back an it's working again! Had a spare one ready in the wings anyway. Just like my circular saw, which started smoking an cutting hardwood. Stripped it apart partially. put it back . It's working again (tho I dont know for how long) I got a spare ready. (Well u gotta havent u.) Had both for years (2016) so they have lasted.
I run a Repair Cafe in Leighton Buzzard. Someone is keen to bring in a Sharp VZ 2000 and looking for it to be repaired. It looks like a really fiddly job. Where are you based? Would you be able to look at his item?
I have just binged watched the cb250rs build. Fantastic work and also knowing that you are back on form. I had a new cb250rs back in the day and I did 45000 miles on it before it needed some care and attention.... so I bought a crashed damaged one (only from forks bent after hitting a gate and the owner just wanted rid of it) I rebuilt my engine and swapped over some bits from the donor bike and all was well. So there I was with this other bike and completely stripped it and did what you had done.... I sold that bike and made a tidy profit. I kept the original bike for a further 8 years (with anonter rebuild) and chopped it in for a RE500. I enjoyed that but I really loved my CB250RS
