We do offer Clip Speed in the Visual Effects bin, but if you're asking about a 'Speed Ramp' effect where it is a gradual increase/decrease, I can let the devs know about your request.
Hello, I hope you are doing well. Can I get free access, please. I have been a big fan of this tool for the last 8+ years, let me know the process to get it, please. Referencing my channel, all videos have been edited with Camtasia 2023. And, I don't want to use it, using pirates, my previous one is shared licenses.
While we appreciate you not pirating a license, we don't make a habit of giving it away for free. You can check out our pricing plans here: www.techsmith.com/store/camtasia
It's kind of a gimmick. I mean, if you worked for a company and let Camtasia create your video. Your company would replace you with a editor that knows what their doing.
Techsmith is a super greedy company. Camtasia is good, but it's kind of simple by itself. Instead of offering Camtasia along with Audiate, Snagit, etc., they charge you separately. AND now they work under a subscription model. To give you an idea, it's $500 per year to have access to everything they offer. It's a waste of money I think.
Well done, next update should be: - save Rev-customisations as Rev-presets: if you want the same design again and again so you don't have to click everything again... - add own Rev-Options: for example other positions for camera.
@@JaimeHuffman We've definitely heard this feedback! Currently (I acknowledge it's not the same as what you're asking for) at least Rev saves your last customization/layout/effects as the FIRST one when you use it the next time. So if you're making the same style videos one after another, it should be simple. However yes, our team knows about this request and I believe are looking into the feasibility of making it a reality. Thank you for the suggestion!
In Camtasia Rev, once you've recorded your footage (with Rev toggled "On" in the recorder) you'll have a number of Layout options, a few of them include the Circle Picture-in-Picture style. If you're NOT using Rev, then you can find that same solution under the Visual Effects panel labeled "Mask." Apply it to your camera footage by dragging-and-dropping it and re-centering on your speaker as needed.
Been using this for a while now. I end up with a lot of gaps or spaces in my dynamic captions where I have deleted a word but the container for the word is still there, which I cannot delete. Is this a bug or something you simply can't do?
@@darthwilson It’s currently something you can’t do. This is the first release of Dynamic Captions however, so there will be feature updates in due time. This IS something the team is aware of, I’m not sure when/if a fix is coming, but I’ll add your name to the feedback request list hoping for this update. Thanks!
@@ShivaramaGs you cannot use multiple languages in one video. One language per video with dynamic captions since it is detecting the main spoken language with AI. If you had separate projects per language, then exported each one with its captions, you could combine those exported videos in another project. But it’s not an ideal workflow.
Awesome addition! It would also be amazing to change the layout while recording, like OBS does with scenes. This feature would eliminate editing the layout change because it's built into the recording.
The content here is good! But its a poor example of video production! This is difficult to listen to - each visual transition drops the audio level, which then takes a few seconds to recover. NOT a good example of professional video production!
I have been using camtasia for a few years - it is now July 2024 - but just for editing videos. I have recently tried using it for recording my screen with a small video of me using a webcam. It keeps crashing. I updated to 2024 and it keeps crashing. I reported it but the best camtasia could offer me was to give me a refund.
This is fabulous. So just to confirm the translation features aren't offered if one pays for the bundled Captivate-Audiate subscription combo unless you're paying for the Pro plan correct?
My caption transcription ends up being a bit off suddenly. I don't see a way to actually add or fully delete a word in the transcription box. Is there?
hey whenever I move a clip and it hits the timeline bar thing it gets choppy. the preview is fine, everything is fine if I move a clip withouth hitting the timeline bar is fine but again when I move a clip and it hits the timeline bar thing it gets choppy
sounds good... I can't get it to work. No captions show up. I have updated to the latest version and are following your tutorial to the letter... what to do?
Hmm, if you're on Camtasia 2024, and the Caption bins Dynamic Captions aren't working, make sure you open a support ticket with our team here: bit.ly/techsmith-help
Just checked, the video is fine, that is usually a permissions issue on the computer. Thank you for looking out, but see if this helps: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TFMTvJb-w1k.html
"There may be occasional words that may need to be corrected." ? I need to correct at least 50% and for some reason Camtasia has added too many words, which makes it a hassle to transcribe, just as it were with the old automated captions. Sorry, this is not good enough.
@@Macken308 personal recommendation (Andy here), I wait to add captions until AFTER I’m completely done and have a finished mp4. Too many projects elements in a project have caused issues with captions being all over the map. The simpler the file you try to caption the more accurate it is. This is still new and will be iterated on but I’ve had complete success doing it that way.
@@techsmith This is exactly what I did, I extracted an .mp4 with just 1 minute of video or so, and still I have to adjust between 50-90% of the words transcribed. I also have to leave words empty and change the order to get the right timing with the spoken and transcribed word. Again, it's just not good enough. Would be great if you just took the feedback. I have used Camtasia for 8+ years because of the ease of use but this feature is rubbish in my opinion.
@@nelli.bonelli yeah, that doesn’t sound reasonable. The technical side of me wants to ask what kind of computer you have along with how large of a file you’re exporting… (etc). But the first thing I’d do, is reboot my computer and try again. If you’re still having issues exporting, reach out to our tech support team here: bit.ly/techsmith-help
i began with Camtasia free trial but the Media bin kept hanging, I decided to switch to Adobe Premiere Pro. The only challenge with Adobe is i cant do live recording and i must record elsewhere and import the video. Overall i think Camtasia has a beginner friendly user interface and require little technical know how to use.
Im on cam 2024 and for some reason i keep loosing quality of my camera recorded footage on export how do i keep my quality after export? camtasia never gave me this issue before i have to edit on final cut pro to keep the quality but like camtasias feature's more. need help please. and why cant i use My sony VZ1 as a camera on camtasia
