Not surprising the auction house sells turn of the century phonographs accompanied by 1920s music. Is it out of context? The 20's song "Ain't We Got Fun" lyrics include "the rich get rich and poor get poorer". As a poor person, the estate must have been pretty rich to amass such a collection.
Hopalong Cassidy, at one time, lived three houses down from our home. Wagon wheels still adorn his former front yard. What a coup it would be if this trailer found its way back to his former digs in Palm Desert CA!! :)
These guys always have some of the best auctions around, even though I shouldn't make suggestions like this to generate more business for them which means my prices might go up but they really are a great auction hall, always quality antiques, they have a great reputation of honesty and fairness. I highly recommend following them and stop out at their facility in person.
