Lord Hawke has a few songs I'm not finding on RU-vid, not only Lord Hawke, many of the songs in the 1970s, Road March included. I can find everything from my second home, Barbados, of course the Crop Over started a bit later than Vincy but their music is on RU-vid

Wow!!! I’m trying to recapture the pioneers of vintage Vincentian music. I’m a second gem Canadian Vincentian and I applaud to hear these vintage songs. Would you know the artist who song a song that goes ‘humpty dumpty mash up he batty’? I have a piece of the song on cassette and would love to know the name and artist for that classic tune.
Phil Madison, whose real name was Manuel Rodrigues, was my great grandfather. He moved to Trinidad in 1912 and orchestrated vaudeville acts which helped in the development , and acceptance, of calypso. Though he enjoyed performing, he also had a shirt factory on Tragarete Rd. Caroni Swamp was another of his songs. There were many others recorded under RCA.
@humphreymcdonald3656 Greetings Humphrey, is there any place where I can put my hand of a copy of the song "We Need Some Loving" from The Up-Lifters which has been released on your Big Mac Soul Power label ? Thank you for these !!
Sorry for the late reply, however, I'll try to find the MASTER STAMPER or VINYL and get back to you as soon as possible. Happy New Year to you and your family. More BLESSINGS @@Alexlel49
My brother! Thanks for this share! It's more than forty years since I have heard this Classic! Even today, this song shines beautifully. I always felt this was one of his greatest creative work....
