My OCCC was caught early (pt1A, pN0), I had optimal staging surgery and opted for no chemotherapy. My pre-surgery CA125 was 800+, and at three month follow-up it was 4. What is a reasonable frequency of CA125 surveillance testing for me moving forward? My Onc only looks at me quarterly.
*I used to check this platform time to time and I found herpes virus treatment🍃🍃 on RU-vid called **#DrMadida** that cured I and my husband after the treatment plan✅...*

HI everyone! Thanks for inquiring and thanks be to God, everything came back benign! The oncologist was ready to stage me. Told me and my family afterwards, "You dodged a huge bullet!"
I’m 68 years old and had ovarian cancer when I was 55. I had Total Hysterectomy and declined Chemotherapy. I had normal CA125 for two years and stop checking it. But recently my CA 125 was 303 last month and my result just yesterday for CA125 is 600!. I have some bloating and lower abdominal pain once in a while. Please help.🙁
So over the past 10 years since I have been NED, going to get a CA125 test every 3 months is a total waste of money and time? Do I understand that correctly?
@@lisalinn4666 hi Lisa, did u undergo gene tests to check if u r brca positive or not?? Have you been taking any targetted treatment like tablets to be cancer free
I was 63, and woke up one morning to spots of blood in my underwear. At that time, I had not had a period for seven years. A friend said to wait for a month, but mother had several bouts with different cancers, so I had a biopsy. A week later they said it was a 'low grade cancer' and I needed to see a specialist. I saw a specialist four days later, and 3 days after that, I had a hysterectomy. I was told it was a stage 1-A, not into the muscle or any other part of my abdomen. I did undergo chemo and radiation it got worse I was so confused and going through a lot of pains till I come across DR.HARVEY on You tube comment section on how he cure people like me before with his herbal products so I contacted him and he told me to purchase his products which I did and he delivered it to me here in Canada and told me how to use and behold I can boldly say to the world I'm free thank you so much DR.HARVEY God bless you. . . You can contact DR.HARVEY VIA EMAIL:[Drharveyphytotherapy@yahoo.com] WHATSAPP:+19716663103
Maybe cysts are protective, like how the body lays down fat in areas of high stress as cushioning? If my cysts are protective then instead of removing them I want to find what is causing them, I think for me poor posture and sedentary life puts a lot of undue pressure on my pelvic organs and I don't have the muscle build up around my butt and hips to help that area to "push back" against the pressure
Doc. My mom have ovarian enlargement. So her doctor give for CA125 test, And my mom CA 125 result is (9.1) is that normal doc? Hope we have a good news about my mom result.
Whew! We have a "Dr." Larry Maxwell in my town, and he's a windbag. So glad to see that this is a different Dr. Larry Maxwell. Excellent video, important topic, hope you have other productions that got more attention. Thank you.
Ok, here is my dilemma. I had a mass along with my right ovary and tube removed back in 2007. Now in 2017, have just been diagnose with another pelvic mass, which is causing tremendous pain. I've also been diagnose with severe anemia. What could be the cause of the pelvic mass, and could that be related to the severe anemia?
Large or numerous tumors (as during cancer) can cause both masses and anemia. Anemia is usually caused by heavy periods, and dietary deficiency. Pelvic masses such as fibroids can also lead to heavy periods that lead to anemia.
Hello. Sorry for the late reply. It’s been 4 years since this post. I have had a baby since a this comment and numerous ultrasound scans on my ovaries. All come back normal. However my CA125 is now 112, 120... I am being sent for a CT scan of my abdo as I have irregular heavy bleeding and the gynecologist thinks I could be raised due to something going on wit other organs. Thankyou for everyone kinds comments
@@katiebrown7278 can you tell what they find out? My ca125 level was also increased but after going for ct abdomen chest and pelvic they think its tuberculosis
BlackWomenStandUp.com is a Movement that is in full support of bringing awareness to Gynecological Cancers. We do this during our #LoveYourVaJayJayDay on April 10th of each year, started in 2014, as an online social media campaign which promotes the hashtag #CheckUpOnIt to remind women to stay on top of their health for cancer prevention. We also have a Memorial and Survivors Wall on the site for honoring or celebrating women of color who have transitioned from the disease or for those who have survived. April is National Minority Health Month, and this is a cause near and dear to our hearts!
