Every barbecue we make has to be able to produce exceptional flavour before it can ever be sold to the public. It's a company rule. Why is this so? Because we know that when your friends enjoy the exceptional flavour of Weber® meals, they are almost certain to want to own one of our barbecues too. Direct cooking (barbecuing) and indirect cooking (roasting) with extraordinary flavour are hallmarks of the Weber® brand.
The Specs on the smoker box say that The wood smoke will last for approximately 50 - 60 minutes when low and slow smoking. If your cook lasts longer than this, do you refill your smoker box with fresh wood or let it go? thanks
I bought Weber BBQ for twice the price of ordinary BBQ. The user experience is very ordinary! Grills can't be cleaned soon. Weber after-sales service, very rude and unreasonable, refusing to provide free Grill is a replacement. The new Grills are very expensive! I hope everyone can choose carefully!!!
Just got my new q3200n+ Assembly instructions suck - checked numerous times against the very poor greyscale images and now ready to put the gas bottle in (no idea what that long threaded thing - in the parts list above the wheels is for) - side tables took forever to get into place and undo the hose clamp, bloody bbq is backwards - can go sit in the backyard for a few days until my sore shoulder has recovered from twisting and turning getting screwdriver into the nooks and crannies I made many an assorted mecanno model when I was younger with my dad (proper English mecanno) and can assemble Lego and ikea with one eye closed easily - this bbq is attrocious in design to assemble - only got it coz I stupidly had a fat fire and killed my 8yr old q3200
Great convince instructions! I'm up at Lake Tahoe using your chicken instructions on my Traveler. Tomorrow, fresh salmon from the lake. What method do you recommend, from "down under" in Australia?
It's a pity you can't buy the trivet on its own. I've hardly used the saucepan. I've got a ribbed griddle plate (not Weber) that fits perfectly inside my Baby Weber and on top of the trivet. Perfect for BBQ steaks, fish, sausages etc, and easy to clean.
Thanks for the feedback! At this stage it is only sold as the bundle set with the Saucepan and Trivet, but we will pass this onto our Product Team for future consideration.
It will depend on the type of cook how much fat drippings there are on the Convection Tray. In this instance the Lamb didn't have too much but there is still some debris there!
This depends on what type of Roast or Bake you are doing! In this video after pre heat the Lamb Leg was cooked over medium heat (number 4 cooking setting) for around 1.5 hours.
Just purchased the new Q2800N+ been great so far, my family have enjoyed the benefits of the old Q320 for years and still do, this new model seems like a nice evolution. Will hopefully get a chance to visit Adelaide to try the classes. Saw a couple of comments about the middle burner, mine seems fine so far *fingers crossed*. Only thing I would have preferred is if it came with a Griddle but a small nitpick.
Love forequarter chops especially on the Weber, thought hot plates were better until I discovered grill plates and you’ve explained how food gets it flavour but how does it stay juicy if the fat is dripping away? Doesn’t matter because it’s yummo… might try your spices on some chops….yes I am lazy😆..
Just upgraded to the q plus, couldn’t decide on pork ribs or a tomahawk to christen it with but the butcher had the primest tomahawk sitting on display calling my name, so it won..
Thank you. You would be the only one that would have a full unboxing video including the stand. I looked everywhere with every video on RU-vid and no one has done an boxing or assembling of the cart that goes with the new Q2800N+
We don't recommend cleaning any parts of the Weber Q in the dishwasher. Most of the parts can be easily cleaned with a grill brush and for deeper cleaning the grills and burner tube can be cleaned in warm soapy water.
Thanks lass. I wanted to see how you cleaned the box. A plastic narrow scraper huh? Good. BTW. I am an old boy and this machine (Weber Traveller) is by FAR the best BBQ I have ever used. Well worth the price. (Cast iron grates are incredible.) Cheers.
2 annoying things re Webers, you can't cook a pot or boil water on it so can't really take it camping unless I have access to a gas top. You can't light only one side, meaning no true indirect cooking and if I only want to use one side of the plate it heats both anyway which is a waste of gass.
The same convection tray was use throughout the whole process of pre-heating to cooking the roast lamb. You can see at the finished cooked the drippings underneath the meat.
These are not the same as the old versions. I bought the 2800N+ Gas Grill and the center burner stopped working after 5 uses. It only lights up 1/3 of the way. Other people are having the same issue. Weber used to be the best but they’re trash now.
So sorry to hear you are having this issue with your Weber Q2800N+. Our customer service team will absolutely be able to assist and troubleshoot to ensure your Weber Q is performing as we expect!
Well worth the price lad. I have had many bbq's. This thing kills it. Best thing? You can get it out of the weather easily and it will last a very long time. Cast Iron grates. BTW Canadian product. (I am Canadian.)
I wish Weber had set up the two burners side by side for hot area and warming area. This design on this 2800 makes for good roasting but for searing with one burner, not what I hoped for.
