I've redone so much stuff with my AC and it still doesn't work. I'm about to buy a new compressor and see if that fixes it. Done replaced both sensors and actuators and still nothing. Filled it with freon too

It’s literally just the splash shield. It was slightly bent forward. Just push it back evenly and the sound will stop

@@allenproductionstv8133How’d the old rotor come off? Did you forget to release park brake / Did the inside drum have a lip to it ? My guess is backing plate got bent when the rotor was being removed, and now it’s rubbing on the inside of the rotor.

@@browow1 backing plate isn't rubbing. Done checked it. I'm taking the caliper off soon to do some testing to see if that's the cause of it. The noise is only on that side

New pads as well as rotors. Didn't start this sound until about 1 week after they was replaced. That's what leading me to think the caliper might be slightly stuck

@@allenproductionstv8133I just read this reply and think a parking brake pad shoe friction plate broke loose from its steel backing plate

Brand new pads and rotors. Measured the factory ones to make sure I had the right thickness.

That's what I was thinking. None of the other ones are making any noise

Maybe stuck caliper

Take the caliper off and hit it with a wire brush and some brake cleaner, if the rotor is new, replace the pads.

Backing plate

Yeah don't work on your own car you can't even change brakes. A. You have a stuck piston. B. You have the wrong pads. C.do more research before touching your car. Bleed the line open your slave cylinder and press your foot on the break or get a brick and bleed your breaks there's a nipple you turn to let the air out its near the calipers. Don't jam a screw driver in the pistons either to push them back,bleed it first and get a flat piece of steel put it where ur pads would go and press on the brakes after bleeding to retract them.
