Once a month feeding?? I bought one 2 to 3 weeks ago on discount from Walmart that was more than half dead. All the others on discount were already dead. Anyway, I have fed it three flies so far, and it seems to be coming back to life nicely. But, did I overfeed it? Or did it need that, given its condition from the store?
Help me save mine!! My poor baby is legit dying! She is my second venus fly trap ever. My first one lasted a long time. This one is Struggling and i dont know what to do. 😭 My other plants are thriving very well. I just got her 2 weeks ago. I feel so bad for her. Yes i am very attached to my plants. They all remind me of home. 😢
Always more moisture and wet , also give them barks so they can dry off if needed .. they are fragile and dont handle them unless you have top move them around ..
Just grabbed a male myself, he's about a year old I think. a bit bigger than the one in the video. I know they are pretty reclusive, but it's been about a week, and he maybe ate ONE cricket. Any tips on how to encourage him to come out and eat? he doesn't seem stressed when I removed his previous hide to put a new one in, and he has about 3 hides currently. thermometer is showing good levels of heat and humidity. I assume he might be getting used to his new enclosure, but how long should I be ok with him not really eating before it becomes concerning...?
Just get small ones, i have a small black centipede, when i handle him, he just cleans himself. He's a beautiful, but small specimen and the the pride of my life.
My venus fly trap wont open (I just got it recently) I live in Canada so it is fairly cold, but ive been using a heater in my room keeping it close to my window in the light, but it wont open for me to feed it
i have mine for almost 2 years now. i used to feed it very often and it grew rapidly. it tripled in size during the fist year. then i repotted it and left it outside to feed on its own. its still doing great.
Wouldn’t recommend jumping into a pet due to seeing a show, centipedes are dangerous and need a lot of care. I’d recommend doing a lot of research and finding out how strong their bite is so you know how dangerous they are
@@Twistedsleep yeah I did do a lot of research Not many people have Chinese red headed centipedes so it's kinda difficult to get advice for them tho most centipedes aren't a good idea especially because I have no experience with venomous creatures experts worn other experts so it's probably a good idea I don't touch centipedes till I get sum experience My experience consists of lizards dogs cats and birds lol
