Hello, host. I'm feeling extremely FOMO right now. Here is why: I'm a beginner who started playing stocks for the first time in May. I believe deeply in Tesla's future, which is why I decided to invest in U.S. stocks. In July, during that big surge, I went 2x long on Tesla and made about $200,000 in profits. But then came the big crash, and due to some reckless moves, I lost it all, and now I'm down by $50,000. I often buy at the peak and sell at the bottom, basically getting treated like a “chump” in the market. During the big crash on August 5th, I didn’t dare to enter the market with even a single dollar. It was my first time encountering such a major event as a beginner, and I was panicking, afraid that it would continue to crash further. Because of the trauma from the previous big crash, I planned to stay out of the market this week. My initial idea was to wait for a crash after the non-farm payroll data came out and then get back into Tesla. But unexpectedly, the market has been rising continuously, which has seriously affected my mood. I am currently very angry and frustrated. I'm from Taiwan, and there is a time difference with the U.S. stock market. I can usually only watch the market for 2-3 hours before I have to sleep. It often happens that there’s a big rise in the first half and a big fall in the second half. Also, I am using a brokerage service in Taiwan to buy U.S. stocks, so I can only trade during the regular trading hours for stocks and can't set stop-loss orders or similar functions.
