I’m so glad this is on RU-vid. Sirens and all 😂 Bro owns this role. I watched like 10 other performances of this song and he’s the goat. Such a great dude
So not only do we have Hugh Jackman and Russel Crowe, but I’m pretty sure that’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan next to Hugh. Literal trifecta of actors that play dudes in the action movies/tv I loved coming up. Then you got Scott Grimes singing MJ to top it all off, this is a great video for my nerd heard
The worst rendition of the Heiress. Chastain and Strathairn were miscast and terrible in their roles. They're not in the league of De Havilland and Ralph Richardson.
Weird brag but I was here when this video first released. I’m like “who the fuck IS THIS GUY?!?” Then the Orville released and Scott was in it. My friend was watching it with me and I showed him this video. We are both such huge fans. That voice has to be the best voice I have ever heard…easily
How many hours do you think Scott Grimes spent in front of his mirror singing Michael Jackson songs growing up?? ... also whoever decided not to give Russel Crowe (in the back) a microphone made the right call.
It would be really awesome if Scott Grimes can do a Michael Jackson song using his Steve Smith voice. Imagine how awesome that can sound. "Man In The Mirror", "Wannabe Startin Something", or "P.Y.T." I can hear it already.
Who's the guitarist off to stage right? Is that the guy who did Gil's guitar parts for the show? I take it the bassist was doubling for John. Decent acting from Todd and John before the song; clearly an act, but it's not bad. The only things missing here are Keiko and Carol's voices. Canon holds that Hyun-Kyung was inspired to pursue music by Sophie Bloom, portrayed by the original singer of "Where You Lead". I want to hear that version of this song. I love how Keiko Moons out on the back half of the song. She's the second Mooniest drummer I've ever seen.
