Great review! I just finished this book and I loved it! I agree with you that, though it covered some heavy topics, there was a good deal of humor throughout the book. I learned a lot about Indian culture and folklore, as well.
Very true. But it also made my heart soar. At first I was weirded out because I thought what is this magic? That's too silly. Then I realized it was a conceivable evolution.

I know. I love that she is strong and confident but still kind. She is very competent in her profession and her life is not about her relationship. In many of her books she isn't even in one. Love it and so great to hear from you Patty.

Yes, I felt like the older sister ended up just as courageous as the Nightingale. Her way of doing life was just different. The Nightingale went after it and the sister dealt with what landed on her doorstep. The author is amazing. (I just figured out how to respond haha)
