How do I get this into Corel? I downloaded it and unzipped it. Then I double clicked it and it opened a page in Corel, but I cannot find this command. I know nothing about Macro's, but I'm doing 900 braille signs and I'm using a laser so I have to change the hole size and right now I'm doing each hole individually. I want to be able to change them all to the size needed at once.
For some information on installing a .GMS file, you can look at this blog post at the CorelDRAW Community site: community.coreldraw.com/share/b/eskimo/posts/getting-started-with-using-vba-macros-what-do-i-do-with-a-gms-file. @@EskimoCorel Okay, that's AMAZING and I got it installed and working. Do you happen to have a video on creating a macro? If I could turn the whole process intio a macro that would be incredible. I have to type the braille number (No biggie), then I have to outline in red, and no fill color. Then convert to an object, then break the object apart, then run your macro to change the size. Can I create a macro that does all of that except the typing of the number?
@@HJTrophies Doug Green has a number of videos where he uses the recording capability to create macros. That works for some jobs, but in some cases, one needs to write the code. I think it would be straightforward to take care of the fill, outline, convert to curve, and break apart in one macro. If you want to ask about this on the CorelDRAW Community forum, that's an easier place to discuss the task and share macro code.
@@EskimoCorel I'm still waiting for them to get back to me with my approval and log in information. I was able to record the Macro to do the first bit. Then I'm using yours for the second bit. It's saving me a ton of time. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for your help.
@@HJTrophies Hey, great, it sounds as though you have this one! I'm glad this macro helped you; what you are doing is one of the types of task it was written for.
In the description for this video, there is a link to a discussion on the CorelDRAW Community site. That has more information about this. You need to find the Command in CorelDRAW workspace customization, then assign a shortcut key to that Command.
Im a tshirt designer i always having same job like name number and game name with equal specific gap between then ...names numbee and always came throw excel ....can you make a macro ??
@Eskinmo Thank you for sharing. I can't find an email address to contact you privately. You can develop macros that group one or more objects. Take the outermost object as the main object
In the description for the video, there is a link to a discussion on the CorelDRAW Community forum. You can see there which Command you need to assign a keyboard shortcut to.
What I show in this video was not accomplished by a macro; nothing to buy or install. This was done using CorelDRAW's workspace customization features to create a "user menu", and then assigning a shortcut key to it. I have a blog post about that on the CorelDRAW Community site: community.coreldraw.com/share/b/eskimo/posts/5-workspace-customization---user-menus.

Hy, i have a question , u type this code? Sub shapes_to_pages() Dim s As Shape Dim pThis As Page For Each s In ActiveSelectionRange Set pThis = ActiveDocument.AddPages(1) s.MoveToLayer pThis.Layers("Layer 1") s.CenterX = pThis.CenterX s.CenterY = pThis.CenterY Next s End Sub And if u did, can i replace centerx and centery with coordinates?
I wrote that code in a thread on the CorelDRAW Community forum: community.coreldraw.com/talk/coreldraw-graphics-suite-2020/f/coreldraw-graphics-suite-2020-for-windows/64432/objects-to-different-pages. I was getting the coordinates from the center of the page (Page.CenterX, Page.CenterY) to center the objects, but you could give it different coordinates if you wanted to.
@@Miko-of4wm This is difficult to discuss in the RU-vid comments section, because we can't post formatted code, screenshots, etc. If you contact me (username Eskimo) at the CorelDRAW Community forum, I can try to answer your questions there.
Expand the description text under the video. There should be a link there to a blog post about this macro on the CorelDRAW Community web site. In addition to more information about the macro, that blog post includes a link (near the end of the post) where you can download the macro from Google Drive.
