Let's talk about the special Jessenia pothos plant! It's really hard to find them anywhere, so I was super surprised to see them here in ATL. If you see one, grab it! I couldn't believe it when I found them in not just one but two stores! 😱
I appreciate having people in my corner offering advice as I continue to grow. I also learn from rewatching my videos 😆. Thanks for the advice and will do!
I was going to bike down there to see what they have and now I don't have to, lol. I like bromeliads too, but have to order them online to get them that aren't the grocery store ones.
What an excellent question! I ended up purchasing some of those rare bishop's caps as planty gifts for both my family and friends... I just couldn't resist! 😅
@@Plantyreality that's sweet, I get it. Not often you come across them. I got excited last weekend at my local home depot having euphorbia white ghost 👻. I had to snag one plus it came with three in one for only 18.98!
An excellent thing about Home Depot is that you can ask an employee to price it for you, and it typically matches the price of other plants in similar containers. Home Depot sells by the container, not by the plant, so at least you won't be breaking the bank! 😄
Her video makes it look like more than it is, this is the Midtown Atlanta Home Depot and its small and has a lot of repetition of the most basic plants, I know I live a few blocks away, lol. The succulent and cactus section is small but a lot of variety. There is a little plant shop and bar across the street that does a lot of cacti and succulents too, maybe that is just what is in demand here.
Although the Home Depot stores in Manhattan are smaller, they usually have a good selection of house plants. But let's be real, the plant section at this Atlanta Home Depot is on a whole other level. The Lowe's in Brooklyn is the closest I've seen to a decent variety of house plants. I'm still hoping to stumble upon a store that blows me away. By the way, where are you from?
@@PlantyrealityI’m in Las Vegas. My Home Depot and Lowe’s have nice plants 🪴 it nothing compared to the one you were at, amazing!!!!!’🎉Have a great weekend!🪴🌻🌹🌷🪴🪴🪴
Guess what! I came across that same plant during my travels, and guess what? It had a label! It's called the Red Elf Lipstick Plant. Looks like you were 💯% correct. 😂🌿
Hey Plant Traveling Lady! Congratulations New Yorker for blazing your own plant trail. You do not have to worry about your Princess as long as you don't put any plants in her space, don't overcrowd the bathroom and you golden. My Son's room is not plant space it's his space and I just don't go there. And I had a bad experience putting Calatheas in the restroom so I just don't put any in there. Besides, he has 0 zero interest in my hobby. If I have to travel I give him MINOR duty that he willingly helps me with. I've gone Vertical. I have 2 floating shelves I've put up myself in my bedroom and living room. I may put a small one in the kitchen in the future. Don't know when. So when you want to bring a plant home that's ON YOU and NOT ON ANYONE ELSE even family. She may like it and may want to have plants in her space, don't join her. Let her utilize her space ALONE. We Crazy plant people NEVER WANT TO DISCUSS ANYONE WITH OUR HOBBY BUT DRAW THEM IN, IN THEIR OWN TIME. So you don't have to worry about Princess. Think out of the box to grow your collection as you like in your palace without concern. I will warn you, YOU WILL REALIZE YOUR CAP OF HOW MANY PLANTS YOU'LL WANT. I already know mine. 300 plants no more. I'm not there yet but I'm climbing. Don't forget plant swaps. Take care now. I always enjoy your plant videos. God Bless!
Thank you so much for your support, it truly means the world to me. I'm thrilled about the journey we're embarking on together and can't wait to see what's next. Surprisingly, my princess is fully on board with my plant obsession. I had a little scare in Atlanta with that massive, heavy Hoya plant, but there was no way I was parting with it! 😂 Stay tuned for updates on the plant swap - I'll keep you posted. 😁
much respect but the way you swing that camera around in your excitement makes me dizzy😆. i will continue following you and hope your page grows every day ✌🏾✌🏾
Thank you for your feedback. I’ll be sure to continue implementing changes to improve viewer quality!. I’m currently on a flight back to NYC, but I wanted to take the time to thank you for hanging in there with me😅😁.
Okay im back!...... I SPENT SOME MONEY LOL just a lil bit tho.... They were so nice and remembered you they wanted to remember your name and i was no help as I been going around the city calling you " my friend Planty Reality " well at least we know the branding works. I bought about 4 or 5 plants... the tiger fern waited for me but as you would say it looks " worse for wear "
😅Can we talk about how 'plant activated' is the most accurate term ever?! LOVE IT 😂. But Atlanta took its plant game to a whole new level - my plant-loving heart is going to need time to recover!
