dang the price went up £54.15 for the game set. or 69.52 usd. now the thing is where i live if it was under 50usd customs would leave me alone. shame. because now it would end up costing me. 69.52+ (customs at 50%) + courier fees (10usd) = 114.28 or in my money $17,620.15 will cross fingers hoping for a sale.
Hi SignalBox. Great Video 👍I got to your channel via a shout out from Sim UK. I'm guessing you must be aware of this by now but just in case, I thought I shoud mention it. I was really impressed that Mike (I think that is Sim UK's irl name) took the time to mention another YTer that he thought had done good work. I won't get my hair off about how much I am unimpressed that no matter how good someone's videos are, without the almightly 'Algo God' assisting, it is very difficult to get seen. I had some skin in the game but eventually just packed it in. Anyway, I've subscribed so I am looking forward to the day when you are ruling the world and I can say 'You see our overlord, SignalBox? I was an early subscriber, don't you know? 😉😆 👍 Seriously though, great work. I trust you and yours are well and doing fine. All the very best, Dave (Puffin)
Hello, I'm late to the party ha ha, but I'm thinking of buying one in 2022 at over £70 or more. Do you still use yours and do you think it's worth it now?
I'm confused at the 3:18 comment, the 75hz is just the webcams refresh rate correct? The way he said high refresh rate gamers makes it seem like I can only play at 75fps.
Buy the delanclip. High quality from the packing to the actual product. Just got mine (jan2020). Setup was 15 min. No tweaking needed. No messign with curves. Worked out fo the box. Get this rather than trackir which is outrageously expensive. I use mine in DCS
You can turn the framerate up on the Ps3 eye to up to 120hz (180hz theoretical maximum) at 240p which is fine for motion tracking, but it takes a bit of tweaking to get the exposure and gain just right.
Sadly UK omsi maps are all in WIP, with bickering teams who don’t finish anything. The only maps we have that are varied are Yorkshire and Scunthorpe, none of them are based where there’s a comprehensive bus network even fictional maps, we have more German maps that offer much more routing. The hated Gladbeck has been constantly updated with road closures etc, but the UK side is severely lacking.
Great breakdown, had watched this before - this simulator is really lacking in terms of maps, buses are in abundance due to working off a real image but with a map. Gradients, detail of dropped kerbs (especially these) too much announcement of projects that aren't even playable to the developer yet (A real issue with OMSI, too many GCSE kids making stuff that isn't even started) The UK guys are really lacking and a lot of them aren't even out of nappies yet, and can't formulate a team properly and fall out and then the work stays WIP or gets cancelled completely Look at the London addon for OMSI 2, in development divorce for so long due to numerous idiots on Rhys' team who haven't offered anything to the project.
I come back to your video time and time again - a truly beautiful route for trainsim, a pleasure to use, but most of all a big step back to my childhood. Thank you for sharing the route and putting together such an excellent promo'.
Very nice video thank you :) Just wandering what spec PC have you got and what settings are you using as it looks to be running really well. I have been having a lot of issues so just curious really 😀
Thank you! Main specs are i7 6700 CPU, GTX 1070 GPU and 16GB RAM. TS is installed on a bog standard hard drive, though using an SSD can help reduce stutter. Hope this helps!
why would you do this if you only have 1 monitor ... just saying how can it help you ... if you have to look with the corner of you eye at the main and only display ??
