Thank you for sharing your process and journey... This is really incredible and inspiring to be a witness for how passionate you are and how many efforts you are willing to sacrifice in order to achieve your dreams and execute your artistic vision. Although I'm not entirely sure how streamlined the game is, and I'm pretty sure that feedbacks from playtesters are required in order to accurate this vision even more, and maybe shape it further in order to make adjustments that will open it to even larger audience, But overall, it's look like a really amazing creation, Raoul, and I wish you the very best. P.S-1 I might be wrong but according to this playlist - the game looks heavier than its BGG's current weight of 3. P.S-2 No one who is curious about your game will feel any negative feelings if you would kindly upload the rulebook to the section file in BGG. Put yourself instead of those people (including me), and realize that it will be highly appreciated. Rulebook is not an irrational request, but the most legit and basic anchor. P.S.-3 I really think that the first thing you should do is to create a Facebook group for all the fans, and potential fans who believe in your project and are looking for a "home".. for a community... To share thoughts, to share their experiences, to offer ideas, to communicate. Do create such a place for them (or change the name of the existing community which currently owns the title of the previous game.) Best of luck!!

Hi, It is playtested. I had several playtesters of my "Grim(m) World - First Steps" version and also several of this version, with several hundred playtesting hours. Many feedback from the First Steps version went into this final version. But this is a big game with many different small quests or so. So there might be some small events which maybe not 100% balanced. To PS1: This game is out since a few days, so I think the weight will change. The First Steps version has a weight of 3.25. The Exploration phase is not so complex, believe me. Only the combat has a bit more complexity. To PS2: I have no rulebook. Checkout the "Important information" section of my Itch.Io site. I only have the videos and some rule summary booklets which contains all the rules of the game, but in a condenst version. So you cannot learn the game from it, but you need no rulebook if you saw once the videos. To PS3: I have a Discord server with around 200 people on it. This is what I use as community place. Feel free to join. Discord is very popular in Germany, so I used this at the moment. Thanks for your feedback and questions.

May I ask where you got the red-lined cardholders from? I'd need something like this to hold all the cards!

@@MadLadDesigns this is from Docsmagic.de . But also other companies like ultimate guard has similar boxes.

Great video, much appreciated. Mere mortals such as myself would build the pnp of BV and not think twice about expanding it. This guy is next level.

Nice vid. I was just wondering how thick these cards are compared to regular (bicycle) playing cards? Thnx

@raoulschaupp4727 2 года назад
I don‘t know the exact thickness of Bicycle cards. I assume they have 300gramm per m^2. The cards I made are based on the paper you use. I use 200gramm, plus the label and plus the laminating pouch. So I would say my cards are thicker.

Thank you. I can check what I can do. What dimensions have your game box? I used a long card box for storing my game.

Nice video. Quick question. I’m looking to pick up a paper cutter. Yours looks like a Fiskars. How do you like it and what model is it. Thanks

Yes, it is a fiskar and I really like it. It cuts paper up to 400gramm/m^2 I have Fiskars SureCut.

Thanks for this video. I am new to PnP and crafted my first nine cards exactly with that method. It worked very fine! 🙂

I use this exact method for about 10 years now. Good job for the video.

Probably worth mentioning that when you remove dust from your pages, don't do it above the laminating pouch :P
@raoulschaupp4727
@raoulschaupp4727 2 года назад
I remove it first from the paper and then I stroke over the pouch to feel, if there is still something underneath. But thanks for the feedback

Getting a look inside the concepts and development is very interesting. If we understand the design goals, that helps us to grasp the direction of the game. Thanks! Please include more screen time of the cards. Rather than showing them for 10 seconds. It helps us understand. Danke!
