I just found you online. My brother PR 680 needle is stuck. How do I unstick my needle the needle threader is jammed brand new machine.

@elizabethdavis7657 23 дня назад
Take the needle out of the machine. Have had my brother PE 800 for about six months and I have had to replace the needle threader twice once when I first got it before I even knew how to thread it and then again about three weeks ago.

Thank you so much bro for this I really can't tell you how much I really appreciate this. We have so many Americans who talk about the Ricoma and the Tajima which are really expensive to have. This is about the £6000 mark which is pretty small compared to the others. It would be great if you can show us some patterns, especially for those who want to start up a home business in T-Shirt embroidery.

Sorry, I'm not sure what to suggest as this is more of a training video for MakeSpace members than advertising or reviewing the machine for sales. I'd suggest you start by looking around for Brother stockists wherever you are. For the UK, you could start here: www.brother.co.uk/where-to-buy Or if you're in or near Cambridge UK, you could always become a MakeSpace member and then use ours! :)

Hmm, not too sure on that as I haven't come across that problem. Sorry. Maybe get in touch with Brother support if you can? Looks like it could also be something to do with the thread paths or cutters. support.brother.com/g/b/faqend.aspx?c=hk&lang=en&prod=hf_pr680weas&faqid=faqh00100340_001

hello, Great video, ive just bought one for these, but im not getting 90 x 80 mm sewing area only 50 x 50 mm there is a setting on the machine that can be reset but its not working for me .. with the machine off the start button and the needle threading button is held, this takes the machine into a another menu to enable the settings to be adjusted but it doesn't respond .. getting in touch with brother is a night mare, so I thought hopefully you could help .. Regards Martin

@cammakespace Год назад
Hey, sorry I only just saw this! I'm really just getting started with the machine so I'm not sure why you might be having that issue (I wasn't even aware of that extra menu) but I'll take a look next time I'm at MakeSpace and see if I can replicate what you're seeing.

@cammakespace
@cammakespace Год назад
Thanks! you do get a much better view of the threading process when you're physically in front of the machine, so if you're planning on using it then we can cover it better in the practical training :)

I wish a makerspace - any makerspace - here in the Czech Republic would have a metal lathe. Or a mill. Kudos for offering one for your members.
@Jestey6

Excellent video on the Warco GH1330. However I doubt there are many people with this lathe who need to be shown what the various parts are called and how to use them. Beginners would almost certainly not be spending £4,650. A video using perhaps, the Warco WM180 or similar, would be of far more use.
@johanneslaxell6641
@johanneslaxell6641 9 месяцев назад
And I could maybe have an opinion or two regarding "Safe operation of a lathe". But that's just me, I have only used them for ~25 years...

I can't believe I'm replying to a 2-year-old comment, but the video is specifically designed for members of a particular club (makespace in Cambridge, UK). They watch the video before completing an induction on the lathe. So they need to know how to use that exact lathe.
@Jestey6

@@mikehindley3Hi Mike. Thanks for replying to my comment. Had you mentioned the purpose of the video, in the video. RU-vid viewers would have been able to take the purpose into account. As it was, I consider it to be reasonably for a viewer to assume the video was aimed at ‘any’ member of the public, perhaps one who owned the lathe or was contemplating purchase. As the video progressed, there was nothing to suggest that its intended purpose was specifically to ‘familiarise’ members of your club, with the GH1330. lathe. I have a number of Warco ‘metal’ machines, but nothing as expensive as the GH1330 (currently £6,216). As such it falls within the industrial category, and any professional user would be aware of the part names. I hope you can now see why I commented. Once you are aware of the intended purpose, the video,is excellent, however putting it on RU-vid is, to say the least, questionable. I’ve had a look at your website, and your ‘club’ is excellent. Cheers Noel
