Hi bro, Just one thing off topic. I see you have clogged nose many a times. Have you tried “nasal irrigation” ? It will help with allergies and clogged nose. Apart from that, I always come back to your videos for reference and to learn something new . Thank you for your videos 🙂🙏🏽

What string do you recomend for that racket and what tension? About the gourmets, i have the same racket with the same gourmet problem. Can those be changed since they dont do that racket anymore? If so where can i get it, if not Will the broken ones afect on playability? Thank you
@prostringlondon
@prostringlondon Месяц назад
@@elments the racquet is very old, it’s unlikely you’ll find the grommets but if you don’t try you won’t know. It won’t affect playability but can cause early breakage. The strings is less about the racquet and more about what the player needs.

Any thoughts about this when starting on mains : Instead of clamping one of the 2 first mains then pull tension on one, you measure them to be equally long then put tension on both, then clamp one of them? For me it seems easier to clamp the one main after I have tension holding on both, but you have vastly more experience so maybe you see downsides doing this.

This is the exact Yonex racket Casper Ruud uses. So the frame is available for pro players, but not for us mere mortals. I just recently purchased a stringing machine, so thanks for making these videos with different rackets. It's really helpful!

Hey! Awesome tutorial, I’ve strung my Head Speed MP exactly in the same way you showed but on a manual stringer at the tennis club I play at. I noticed afterwards that my racquet sweet spot seemed to have become larger/bigger. And when I compared it to my other two racquets (same model) it seems slightly a few millimeters shorter that the other ones. What has happened here you think? I strung it at 24 kg with Solinco Hyper G 1.25 mm string.

Any reason for not following Yonex recommended stringing pattern which would do mains to B9 then jump to B12 then up to A14 and back down to B10? Also crosses would be recommended at 10% higher so typically 2lb more.
@JosiahHeng
@JosiahHeng 3 месяца назад
It's recommended because that is the weakest part of the frame. You might end up not swinging that way and still find success, but it's recommended by manufacturer because it doesn't put the racket through potential breakage.
@bradcranford157
@bradcranford157 3 месяца назад
You are losing a lot of tension due to not starting correctly and not clamping the string closer to the frame. I'll bet that the tension comes out to be 3 to 5 pounds less than the intended reference tension.

Yes lynx is different than lynx tour! Lynx is soft and user friendly. Lynx tour is like a heavier hyper g copy, very stiff and more controlled, not really for the club player imo.

The skipped string is one of the Haribito patterns tho it has some other names too. TTY plays with that style professionally. I know some TW stringers who do it on single string jobs as the lowest strings aren't required when playing. This style makes it quite easy to get the extra stringjobs out of a 200m reel which is a big part of the appeal AFAIK. Some also argue it raises the sweetspot a bit higher which would be somewhat beneficial, dunno if that's actually true in practice.

easy to blame the stringer....usually it is the costumer that does not want to get multi because they break faster. this is the main reason poly strings are so popular....a stringer would love to use more multi , good for business , but unfortunately the real issue is that the costumers want to save money by using poly strings that don't break easy.
@prostringlondon
@prostringlondon 4 месяца назад
This is a fair argument however if you’re not breaking strings within 3 months and are a keen tennis player that plays weekly you should stringing your racquet regardless. I find people wondering why they can’t control the ball and why their game has fallen to pieces. A lot a people have to adapt their game to the strings as to the strings helping them.

Hello, I've been watching the channel for a while now, I've been stringing racquets for almost a year now, my question for you, when you do cross strings, why do you first pull two through and then tighten one, and so on? Whether it has anything to do with the tension or not, I would really like you to explain... best regards
