He’s a great mentor, but make sure you learn to read the tape bc sometimes there are unusual activities bullish, but there can be other institutions in the same stock who are bearish.

Sir meta will cross $1000 soon. Clearly the analysis shows this ia a protection trade. Check if price goes up then option value drops but not significantly.
Look back two days prior as well. Same person bought 3000 contracts. So on Monday u should see over 10k worth of it. I don’t see the point of what that whale is doing but I caught EXPE this week. 2 days before ER a buyer stepped in bought 5000 contracts at strikes 125-140. I ended up deciphering it as a call spread. That and the person owned 116k of stocks at $116. I took the same call spread because the RR was so amazing. 3 lot risk 280 to make 2800. I ended up buying 30 contracts with those sticks right before ER I was confident he knew because that call spread break even is at 127. Expe before ER was 117. Our call spread exp next week. His 850k worth of call spread is now millions and he hasn’t sold yet. I made over 12k that morning. If expe ends the week at 135 I make 30k. I would never gamble on ER but when someone bought 5000 call spreads that is 850k a day before ER, that person is not hoping a Praying. Especially when it was precise strikes prices. 125-140 is a big gap for a call spread. My only mistake was I wasn’t greedy to realize I should have double dipped with stocks as well. Now I understand why that person had the call spread with owning stock. I don’t know if he sold his shares but the rr on the call spread was amazing. That’s my 2nd big UoA catch this past month. Last one was mRNA 105 Jan 25 puts and the put spread. I don’t know what that person is trying to do but the risk reward doesn’t seem great. These whales aim to make 200-300%. 200% the very least. They don’t make big trades like this only to make 100%. Ideally 300%
This is guaranteed a hedge. Meta has been the strongest of all the large caps in this time. Last short anyone would put a 8 mill shirt on. It is over 50 sma as well. This guy can be long the long the JPY, SPY or any other index/ forex/stock in addition to this hedge fund that is why follow bearish trades at extreme risk. Longs is a different thing
Bullish sentiment don’t mean anything. U actually need to need the option chain to make sure If the buyer is hitting the ask to buy or bid to sell. Also I just learned recently when u see spread. It doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s a spread. It could mean that that person rolled their winning position and rolled up or down a strike depending on the trade. I also got caught thinking it was a calendar spread but the person rolled to close their winning position and rolled it few strikes higher. All those algo flows and block trades means completely nothing.
