May I question why you're not standing at the distance where you can get pulverize hit+wave overlap and still be distant? Since you're grabbing Nature's reach?
Good Run! But I have one question, I see your paragon board and for this build you dont use a inner bear leggendary node for more cost reduction After shapeshifting…. Do you have some problem of spirit generation with out that or not? Thanks😁
Man, I’ve been forcing banished lord’s talisman and tibault’s will synergy. (was able to push for 118 ) Giving me overpower every 8th pulverize approx (not counting the overpower from pulv and being a bear ) I honestly thought I can be at the same league as your build but still nah. Would love to have pulverize theoretical convos with you man since I’m a pulv enjoyer too. Anyway. nice to know that relying on max Hp for bigger overpower dmg is validated here. (i guess that’s why you went with legendary armor instead of insatiable ) What would you think a decent crit rate should be for a pulv bear? Looking at your max roll - seems like you get 74.7 approx crit. + 8 from raven = 82. Im asking this because maybe we can put in more damage through crit damage tempers ( since it has good multipliers coming from envenom and earthen devastation )
I have 93% Crit Chance. 100% Crit Chance is what you want to aim for, but if you get a good triple passive amulet anything in the ~90% range is good imo. Crit Damage tempers are a damage loss as they replace Crit Chance tempers. A good way to think of that trade off is a 10% loss of Crit Chance as a "10%" damage loss more or less.
It matters depending on what aspect you're using. In this run I am using Natural Balance and Resonance which requires me to use either Storm Strike or Windshear. I use Claw in my speed farming setup because I use Retaliation.
Hello sir , it has been a while for me and I have just recently came back into d4. I have a question for you - is there any scenario at all where Godslayer crown is more useful than shaco, especially when combined with insatiable fury dmg-wise and survivability-wise? Some sort of explanation will be super welcomed on my behalf , because i am currently trying to gain some knowledge back into the game , but It seems i am having issues with that particular question of mine as well. Keep up the good work and i am super happy there is at least one person who happens to play pulverize druid. Thanks for the video and I wish you best of luck and happy hunting!!!!
its depressing that he cleared pit 128 on pulv druid despite all the drones whining throughout the whole season that druid as class can't even do pit 100? the only depressing thing is you as a person.
@@Skydogg5555 Are you high or something?? Which class is the least played? Druid. So, what part you didnt understand? Pit 128 After all classes made 140 or more? Leave the drugs. Troll
Banished Lord's is fine for the earlier Pit levels, but insufficient if you're looking to push. Essentially it is a placeholder until you can obtain an Envenom + Quickshift amulet.
most druids' reasoning for staff is due to earthen devastation (and 1 temper: % dmg crowd control). Unsure whether someone actually tested dps of staff vs mace, wondering the same about crit damage vs overpower damage affix on weapon
You need 150% damage to crowd control through either your paragon board, tempers, or in our case staff. Staff implicit + one temper gets you to the Earthen Devastation Cap. The reason we don't use % Overpower Rolls on any gear is that the damage gain is extremely minimal compared to how Overpower scales with Life. Therefore, we scale Overpower damage through our Life rolls on gear and % life rolls in our paragon board and go for other damage stats such as Willpower and Crit damage on our gear which scale better than flat % overpower damage.
@@pacificblue5588 Thank you for the thorough answer! My other question would be why do you recommend claw on speedfarm/non shako builds? Would storm strike not be good still or even wind shear? Or is it because of the fast attack speed for faster spirit gain? Thanks again!
@@shavant1 You can use any basic attack. I prefer Claw because it has longer range than Storm Strike or Maul, attacks faster, and has the poison on hit which I use as a redundancy if I'm not getting Packleader resets for Poison Creeper. The only reason I'm using Storm Strike here is because I'm using the Natural Balance Aspect and I don't like Wind Shear.
The damage and survivability loss is minimal compared to what you gain with a legendary chest. Personal preference though, Insatiable Fury is completely fine if you want to use it.
I dont understand from where u high dmg comes from, i git the same gear and stats exept your neclace and your hands. My neclace git no passives and hands only got +5 pulverize, and i hit maximum for 200m.... Does all the passives from your neclace make than difference?
Flat % Overpower Damage is a tiny drop in our overall damage bucket, and it doesn't hold a candle to how Overpower scales Life. Therefore, on our gear, we get a lot of max life rolls and we go for Crit Damage on our weapon because we are capping our crit and it rolls higher contributing just a little more to our additive damage bucket.
I use Petrify on my speed farming set up. Unfortunately, there is nothing else good to place in the second temper slot for Pulverize. Pulverize size does next to nothing and Elemental Surge isn't that great.
The amulet will be more difficult to get than the harlequin crest, but we can use something else while we look for something similar. How fast is the build for a pit level 100 ? I’m assuming maybe 3:30 min which is a good time , but we (the casual player) don’t have that good and high level gear. I would like to see a video of a pit 100 with the speed version so we can start farming materials to level the gear and then switch to the push version. Thanks for the build !!
Even a +1 Envenom roll will outmatch any other possible stat on a amulet, even Quickshift. So if you find a trash amulet with envenom, roll crit chance (if you're under 100%), attack speed (if you're under 80%) or Maxlife/Quickshift on it. You have to look at the third stat as some kind of bonus, or you'll go bonkers.
@derbudz I don't think I've gotten a single amulet with Envenom yet. Seen a few with Crushing Earth and I think one or to with Quickshift, but that's it. Tried to roll Envenom on an amulet and no luck yet after around $100m~ gold...
If they wouldn't have gimped Changeling's Debt, a Calm Breeze Wind Shear+Pulverize build would've been insane. I can get 2x250mil per second poison ticks if I can blast for about 5 seconds straight on my Quickshift WS build. Being able to pop those for what was it? 300-400% would've been tasty.
@@BJRRBJRR its not that simple, the reason it happened in this video is because of how pulv works where it can hit one target twice if you are at the correct position.
@@BJRRBJRR i don't care about what a "good pulv bear does" you saying pulv is split into two parts is misinformation if you are talking about on a single target.
This is my favorite class and build to play then is barbarian but do to its lackluster beginning at the start of season 4 I forced myself to swap over to a werenado build and then they literally announced the mid season patch the day after I swapped however, this does not look fun to me as fun as this build is. The damage is insane but just how long it takes to kill everything is absolutely ridiculous it still looks and feels like it’s under performing in my opinion.
Have you tried Marksman finesse on anything instead of the Earth crit chance? I'm guessing the damage doesn't scale as well on druid as it does for barbarian?
@@brandonmitchell6351 I know I meant tempering your weapon on rogue for the crit damage to compare how it would stack up to earth crit. That's what the barbs do on their amulets, gloves, rings, weps
Have you tested marksman finesse for crit damage on any pieces? I'm guessing the DMG doesn't scale as well as it does for barb? Thus the preferred crit chance?
