This is Radio Bert. I make videos about travel (especially cruises), pop culture (movies, music and TV/streaming programs), life issues and lifestyle, with a generous dollop of nostalgia that (I hope) appeals to Gen X, Gen Jones and Late Boomers.
If anything I would love to see profiles of characters that seemed to mentioned regularly but never seen on screen. 😊 Characters such as Clarence from Happy Days. Or Norm's wife from Cheers. Orson from Mork and Mindy. 🤔 Who were your favorites?
Time travel is a really interesting subject sir. Its been said that traveling to the future is possible but the past is not. For example it brings up many paradoxes including my personal favorite. If you went back in time and you prevented your parents meeting then you wouldn't be born but if you're not born then how can you prevent you're parents from meeting. Its truly fascinating sir. I do hope you read this and agree.
this is a whole new prespective on the whole "going back in time to do something differently" question rather than it being spun around to "is time travel even possible?"
I remember a Love Boat episode where the actors who played Mike and Carol Brady (Robert Reed and Florence Henderson) were in separate stories but gave each other a knowing look at the buffet.
@@radiobert i think it was the episode with Andy Warhol, but Tom and Marion were married on the show. they both had been on a few times but this time there were married lol.
Ya not wrong, my old man bought Kogan smart tvs and although they could be slow at times the worked great… until his American bulldog pup chewed the remote and he worked out there were no control buttons on the tv 😂
There was another on M*A*S*H who disappeared without explanation. If in the premiere episode, Father Mulcahy was played by an actor with red hair. He was never seen again, and shortly later replaced by William Christopher.
In the UK TV series from the 1970s, The Adventures of Black Beauty, between season 1 and 2, Vicky is replaced by her sister Jenny without any explanation or mention of where Vicky went. No mention was made of Jenny in season 1 and no reference was ever made of Vicky in season 2.
In Bonanza, Adam Cartwright suddenly goes to Boston to start a new life, but at least he got mentioned a few times afterwards, the implication that he frequently travelled through Europe.
@@MichaelSIngle-gn9qz Thank you! I never knew that. Adding to what you wrote ""Saved by the Bell" was originally planned as a spin-off of a show that ran from 1987-1989 called "Good Morning, Miss Bliss." According to IMDB, the title "When the Bell Rings" was also suggested, but showrunners eventually went with the title you know and love today." So, it was actually a spin-off. I've always loved SBTB, and I thought the writing and acting and cast were terrific up until they brought Leah Remini in there. She did a good job on King of Queens though.
I thought it was funny how Chuck Cunningham in his last scene is going upstairs never to be seen or heard about again. Like he moved into the attic and became a hermit
Uh yeah. They’re not calling him old. They’re just saying he’s the oldest successful coach. A 9 year old could be the oldest kid in a school class, that doesn’t mean they’re old though.
