Thanks a lot you two. You've given me a Sarasate obsession! 🙄😏🤣 Things could be worse. 🤣🤣🤣 A shout out to the lovely pianist! Beautiful playing and beautiful hands on the keys!
These guys are too good , why because they are so distracting I can't get any practice in. Maybe a practice shirt would help, but there sold out, O well I'm closing the laptop now I really am, Dam can't do it.
This was their encore piece at the Singapore concert I attended a couple of days ago. So happy I managed to get tickets and really enjoyed the TwoSet inside jokes. And the performance as a whole. 🥳
thanks for putting this up. There are many great violinists playing this piece, but this version is still one of my favorites! The joy of their friendship and love for the music shines through their playing.. :)
When they said it's different when you are sight reading and performing, this is what they meant. I am late to the party so I am so thankful you uploaded! Their rendition of Navarra by Sarasate is by far my favorite. I have listen to other recordings (and Paul version came equally as good, theirs just got the vibe that I love or maybe because it is bias). Either way, they improved a lot on this piece (compared to the first world tour vid), the violin was singing, they are more in sync, in tune and the rhythm is spot on. Literally love this version so much, I wish they would release an official recording for it one day on spotify or something. Others have pointed out but you know a piece is difficult if Eddy moves less and Brett smiles/moves more and that is quite obvious in this vid xD. Can't wait for them to challenge themselves on more duet pieces (like Ysaye Sonata for duo violin). Also big thanks to the collaborative pianist, without her, the piece can't truly be completed.
OMG I'm coming from the 10 most difficult duets in violin with u guys and i was looking for this one particularly... I'm nearly crying here .. u awsome!!! Muy bonito si señor!!! 👏👏❤️❤️❤️
I guess if you feel disappointment at not being soloists, you'll just have to settle for being among the world's finest duo. I've been a fan of classical violin all my life, for almost seventy years, since I was a child, and I refuse to believe that there's a better duo, which I've somehow missed. This was great on at least six levels. (Rhythm: Dynamics: Melody: Harmony: Texture: and Form) Here's an example: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P2yA9ctZMUA.htmlsi=bu2khBJldIwxTlTQ
I have never heard that piece before and I loved every minute of it! You guys rocked it! Fabulous tone in the highest registers, exciting to listen to! Kudos.
Bravo! Amazing! i’ve only recently discovered Two Set Violin. i’m now a big fan. i love their sense of humor, knowledge of classical music and the history of composers, etc. the greatest thing so far is hearing them play. they’re both so talented and play with such passion. hope i get to see them perform live one day.
This piece makes me want to cry of happiness every time I listen to it! It fits so well to reflect the friendship of Brett and Eddy and how they share it with us across the world. Thank you.
Lady and Gentlemen; I've viewed your channel from time to time and enjoyed every moment. Tonight I have seen you play in a serious way for the first time and I'm ashamed to say I have misjudged you. Absolutely nothing I can say will express my joy in hearing you play. Thank you!
