Hey man thanks for checking out the video! We do wear pads, mine are impact pads that go under my pants and shirt. Owen is wearing a hard spine protector on his back and hard knee pads that go over his pants. Hard pads are more effective but it's mostly preference for me to not have a bulky knee/elbow pad. If I'm not mistaken, I think all of us are wearing impact shorts under our pants to protect our bootys from road rash. Protection gear is something our entire sport/community takes very seriously. Especially when you start approaching the 40-50mph zone. Stay positive fam!
This road on a day to day basis is actually pretty busy. This was filmed tho on a Sunday around 630 pm at the end of a holiday weekend it was very dead around this area at that point.
These spots are OG MIDS runs. I had to be shown these spots. and this hill was the 3rd hill we visited this day, but we left the other two due to high traffic.
I bombed a hill on my buddy's longboard with no experience, and thought I was toast. The speed wobbles kicked in and somehow I held on til flat ground. Pure luck. Never did that shit again lol ...40 on a penny board is insanity. Any permanent injuries, or they get you back together for the most part?

Supporting the kid was awesome. He won't forget it. He may be inspired to pick up a skateboard. Skate friends definitely come and go and a lot of the time it is in waves. In my six years of skating I have gone through 4 completely different groups of skate homies in 2 States and 2 countries. Grateful for all of them. Stay Rad Sir.
Brother, as soon as I seen his table I knew we would all stop and get a cup. Some of us didn't have just 50 cents so they gave him like 5 bucks and refused the change. Easly worth it for a refreshing lemonade. It really hit the spot! YOU stay rad sir!

It’s crazy to me how clearly you can hear that being that there is a bunch of wind and all kinds of other sounds happening at the same time. I really wish I could have explained what that bumblebee sound was but, when I tried to use Robins video footage, the project all of sudden became corrupted. When I removed the footage, the project went back to normal.
I'm not very tall at all. I'm like 5'7 but was told by a rep I could go up a size and still be ok and he was right. it's my goto for uphill and I feel very comfortable on it on the way down in deep conditions!
