I just spotted this on your channel, I went to Phuket the last 2 years, I love it there. I walked through this hotel its lovely. I am curious given that you have now just left Bali, what do you prefer Bali or Phuket? I think Phuket may be cleaner and less chance of getting sick. But it looks like Bali has way more trendy cafes and spas. What are your thoughts on value for money with quality of hotels and dining/spas etc?
Back in 2002, stayed here for 5 days in the older main building with my wife and 6 year old son in a kid pirate ship themed room. The breakfast buffet was WAY better than ANY IN Las Vegas or Lake Tahoe. The outdoor restaurants by the pool and gate access to the beach for an evening grilled Australian Steak was amazing. The pool and location ar incredible. The next year in 2003 was when the Tsunami hit, and closed the hotel gor over a year... So sad that so many people died and lost everything. I am retiring to Thailand in 2026 with my Thai wife of 28 years. Planned this for a LONG time and finally beginning to get everything in order now.
Loved this video and am really enjoying your content. I just watched the Sheraton Kuta review too, Thank you; it's great. How did it compare to the Four Points by Sheraton in Seminyak? I am keen to watch the summary where you rank the best top 10 hotels. I appreciate you commenting on the comfort of the beds/pillows and the properly functioning AC. Can you also include the spa and if the location is easy to walk to shops, cafes etc for anyone not wanting to ride scooters.
Okay sure I will work on including more information. Now I am on to Philippines by the way. Four Points is cheaper version of the primary Sheraton. Plus much more affordable
For Value and all things to considered I really liked the Holiday Inn down in Karon Beach. In Patong I like the Hilton Double Tree. Both of those hotel reviews are on this channel.
The room looks nice, newish nice and modern looking too. Did you go into any other affordable 4 star hotels in Nusa Dua besides the Hilton? I was looking at the Courtyard by Mariott over there do you know if it is walking distance to the beach and shops/cafes, did you go there or any other suggestions etc?
I have watched your Four Points Seminyak and Courtyard Mariott Seminyak, both look way nicer than this one, which is surprising. It is very unimpressive in terms of the unmanicured gardens, and there is not much thought into the design / interior decor, etc. I appreciate you making these videos; it is helping me choose where to stay on my upcoming trip to Bali. So far I am gravitating to the Four Points in Seminyak for the nice big room and more quiet hotel ambience. I was originally going for the Courtyard Mariott but seeing how busy and noisy that pool was with the loud music and packed lounge area was a turn off. It didn't look like there were any quiet areas to have a swim and relax. I will watch your other videos too. Thanks again for doing a great review. Have a lovely day.

One of the worst resort we ever stayed in. Food is average at best. drinks barely have any alcohol and almost impossible to get reservations for dinner. Nails in diamond club pools.
Of course you have to pay for a second person. Obviously, it's costs more to feed and provide drinks for two people compared to one. That shouldn't have been an issue. So, you basically wanted a second person to have all A.I. amenities for free?
So in the app the price was the same if for 1 person or 2 people. Make sense now? So basically the rate I paid was factoring all inclusive for two people. But because I accidentally hit 1 person on the app instead of 2 they stuck me with the rate for 1. I think this will make sense to you now. Thank you for understanding now
why would you not show the beach? No one really does in these review vidoes. It is so anoying... I would love to know, how far is the beach, how it looks like, are there sunbeds and ubrellas, what is the neigbourhood like, are there any restaurants, 7/11, etc....
