Ironman Wales - an iconic event in a magical place. A spotlight to show off this great little corner of the world and to showcase Wales as a beautiful country full of warm and wonderful people. This accompanies the Strava group "Face the Dragon" and a first-timer's attempt to get ready for the toughest day - the famous 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle and full marathon.
Hi Adam - thanks for your message. There's a club leaderboard on Strava on the Face the Dragon page. Your name does show up on last week's club leaderboard (you can toggle between last week and this week). You were 83rd overall on time trained with 4 hr 33 min in the week. You were 30th in swim time with 1 hr 16 min, and 44th in bike ride time with 3 hr 16 min total. Congrats on the time and effort you put in. The points scale I've devised (ie made up arbitrarily) means you need to be in the top 20 overall times, the top 15 swim times or the top 10 run times to get any points. That's why you're not on the video leaderboards (yet). Its just a bit of fun but there are 300 people in the group so to be in the top 20 is an achievement. Last week you'd have needed 7 hr 15 min of training logged to get into the Top 20 overall.
