This channel is meant to help anyone who is interested in our lives, or learning about service dogs. we make videos to day to day life, reviews, tips, training, and more. I really hope that I can help to raise awareness and educate the families, friends, or the public about service dog teams, how to act around one, accommodations, tasks, along with other things. If you have any requests for something specific that you would like me to add on my channel, please feel free to ask!
I am sick to death of veterinarians these days...they are all about the money....poor people have it the worst.....vets would rather see an animal die because you don't have one thousand dollars up front to pay.....no fucking compassion
I’m sorry you had such a negative experience in the customer, but very glad that the employees were so nice and helpful. That’s how all management should react
I'm so sorry this happened to you and unfortunately It happens to too many of us service dog owners. It's happened to me several times in fact more times than I cared to deal with.
Hi I was wondering if you had any service dog gear which you no longer use that you would be interested in trading. Specifically I’m looking for a vest that would fit a 55-57 pound dog
I know this was like 6 years ago that this was made but you completely went against yourself. You saw service dogs are not supposed to be aggressive but then say that your “service dog” started barking and growling. Program and owner trained service dogs WILL NEVER BARK, GROWL, OR START WHINING. Don’t make a video unless your going to have your facts straight and do not clam your dog came from a service dog program and then bring it into a store. My sisters service dog in training that I’m training for her has only been training for 3 months and has been attacked by a pet in the store and does not do anything when she sees another dog even when there acting crazy. I am not even working with a trainer and my dog acts better. So stop faking a service dog just to get views and become famous.
For those who are saying it's an excuse for people with anxiety to bring their dogs everywhere, what about those of us who suffer from ptsd? Are you going to say that same thing if you see someone out and about with their ptsd dog? No, I don't think so. Please, be more kind and more inclusive. There's a difference between emotional support animals and psychiatric service dogs. I believe, based on what I'm hearing in this video ,that this lovely lady has a service dog. Please educate yourselves before spewing hateful comments such as the ones I've read using my screenreader.
Even after I talked to the manager, the couple and dog stayed untill they overheard me(Intentionally) that it was illegal. Then the lady quickly whisked up he dog in the backpack and took it out to the car... the manager never addressed it, and had plenty of time to talk to them..
We have our first therapy dog at my high school, he name is luna... we cannot touch her, or say hello, this one teacher litterally just uses her to fight back the crowds at lunch 😂😂, like bru that poor dog, but she seems pretty chill😂😂😂
is it okay if I ask why it's bad to distract a service dog??? I've heard the rule so I tend to stay away from people with a service dog because I don't wanna bother them.
because you're distracting them from doing their job, so if the dog is helping with mobility and you catch the owner off guard they could fall over, if the dog is trained to notice seizures/other intense episodes are about to happen and you distract the dog there's a chance they'll tell their owner too late, if the person is blind... that's their guide. Kinda cruel. what's cited first and foremost is people with dogs that detect medical emergency episodes like seizures because it could be life threatening, but I feel like everything else that isn't immediately life threatening is also really important to not mess around with, ya know?
No, actually the other girl was talking to her, said her name, and leaned over looking at her, talking to her saying "you're so cute, you would like my puppy......"
Omg this is so helpful because I'm in band and I'm hoping on getting a service dog soon and my one concern was, was the music gonna be too much for the dog to handle but it looks like its fine.
They should be pretty much bomb proof as far as noises or distractions so I’m sure the noise of the music will be fine for your future service dog! It’s good to practice around loud noises to create the ultimate desensitization with our service dogs🦮❤️
Hi, I just came across your videos bc I’ve started a YT channel and it came up on my feed. I have a question and was wondering if you could contact me. I’m looking for a harness similar to yours. Thank you kindly. I’m on Insta and you can send me a message (Clumsy Mumsy2)
boldleaddesigns.com/shop/mobility-support-harness-for-brace-and-balance-stability-assistance/ this looks to be the one used in the video if you're still looking, it's quite expensive but I'm sure if you're looking for a more reasonable price you could find something similar on etsy
Only 4 places can turn away a service dog all others must allow. 1) anothers private residence, 2) Military/ high ranking government facilities, 3) places of worship, (upon which most churches allow service dogs anyways), and the last place is select areas of a hospital or medical facility where either a dog or patient would be at risk of harm such as some NICU's or room of patient with an allergy, as well as surgical rooms due to sterilization concerns, (exceptions have been made in the past though depending on service dogs task)
