I never owned a WRM V9 so I can't really comment too much on that. From what most other people said, the V10 feels very different from the V9, and it's really just a matter of which you prefer.
This is true that the Tornado V3 has manufacturing issues. I have run into this myself with one of my corner magnets occasionally coming off and getting stuck to the core. I would avoid buying the TV3 right now as the Tornado V4 will be releasing within the next few months anyway.
@@cccubing_ I’ve honestly got no clue, I’d email the cube store you bought it from and ask about it. I’d guess that you most likely can’t, however the cubicle for example may be able to send you a replacement cap for a small fee.
@@TacoSnoz i bought it from a friend, the caps look the same to me if you could give me your opinion if you have the cubes and tell me cause i dont wanna take apart my xs if i dont have to
@@cccubing_ unfortunately I don’t own a 356XS and don’t really plan on investing in one. Once again, I suggest just emailing the cubicle or speedcubeshop asking if they could send a replacement cap for a cheap price. If that doesn’t work maybe check in the cubicle discord #hardware channel and see if anyone could test this for you
Wow I can’t believe you actually figured it out! I didn’t remember rotating during the solve so that must be why I wasn’t able to find it. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
I believe I realized why I didn't think I rotated. Before inserting the pair instead of doing a rotation followed by U', I did a d' to cancel the rotation. This is why I completely forgot about the rotation!
I dont know why but I miss the red logo on the Guhong so bad (I erased it and put a Gan logo on it) While I was commenting this, you said the Guhong has a dual adjustment system but in reality it doesnt, so yea
Ah my bad I must have just seen the gear and thought dual adjustment but it's just tension. Been a while since I set up my guhong so that's probably why.
I might try and get one more out before I head to college but I've packed away most of my main cubes so not sure what I'll do. Expect maybe a 4x4 comparison between the SteVin and MGC.
@@UltimateRessie13 only for the pioneer uv, for non uv cubes, you can either use an eraser, soak the center cap in sugar water, or take sandpaper and lube and apply the lube to the center piece and use sandpaper and rub it for about 5 minutes(for a moyu cube)
I have a rs3m v5 too and I really like it but I feel that I still haven't find the perfect set up for me, could you share your settings for me (tension, compression, lubes)?
I have the tensions fairly loose and unfortunately since it's a screw I can't share exact tensions, but if you add me on discord @lyleg then I could send photos of what the tension roughly looks like. The compression is on setting 4 (5 clicks from resetting). Honestly you can just use FZ Calm in it and it will be a pretty nice feeling, but if you're feeling adventurous an Angstrom setup should always work too. Dignitas on all parts of the edge, gravitas on the corner, a few drops of DNM to speed it up to your liking once the angstrom lubes are broken in, typically 2-3 drops is fine.
2024GOLD06 I’d also recommend trying this with Weight 5, I put some on a corner in my gan 12 alongside a fully lubricated edge with FZ Glide and it is a very nice smooth puzzle.
holy scamble moly the way he turns that cube reminds me of my younger days… 😅 glad those are in the past haha 😅😅 continue scrambling and have a blessed 😇 day!
a modern masterpiece. i laughed, cried, fell in love, out of love, became invested and distracted, dissociated and more. words will never do The Kennedy Plane justice.
